Abdomen

HYPOCHONDRIA. Stitches in the left side of the abdomen, beneath the ribs. Sharp stitches and sticking-tearing pain in the left side of the abdomen, beneath the short ribs (8th 9th 17th and 24th days) A simple pain in the hypochondria, and gurgling. Cutting pain in the right hypochondriac region. Feeling of heat in the hepatic region (1st day). Burning pain in the hepatic region (first day). Sticking in the hepatic region which seems like Pleurodynia. Pinching-sticking in the hepatic region. Dull stitches in the hepatic and right inguinal regions. Frequent dull stitches in a small spot in the hepatic region with sore pain when touched (18th day). Pain in the liver, while walking, several days in succession. Drawing pain in the liver. Pressure in the liver changes to heaviness. Pressure extending towards the liver, as if starting from the right breast with throbbing in the epigastric region, which is painful to touch. Pain in the liver like soreness after pressure. UMBILICAL AND SIDES. painful retraction of the umbilical region, while sitting disappearing on moving about. Burning about the umbilicus, with griping in the abdomen, during dinner. Griping below the umbilicus, during the dinner and after rising from seat; burning in the right inguinal region, with great internal and external sensitiveness and a feeling on stooping as if something would fall out, gradually disappearing during rest. Pressure and digging in the abdomen below the umbilicus, as from incarcerated flatulence, therewith he is obliged to sit bent over; worse on walking in the open air (19th day). Slight cutting about the umbilicus, frequently. Stitches at times above the umbilicus, as from flatulence. Severe pressure in the left side of the abdomen from stooping (9th day). Pinching pressure in the left side of the upper abdomen, as from incarcerated flatus (11th day). Cutting pain in the left side of the upper abdomen, extending from the lower portion of the left chest, where there is a sticking at the same time. Dull sticking in the right side of the upper abdomen, after dinner. Stitches in the right side of the abdomen, while laughing. Stitches in the right side of the abdomen, as after retaining urine during sleep, relieved by emission of flatulence. Dull stitches in the right side near the umbilicus (19th day). Stitches like fine jerking in the right side of the abdomen. Tearing, at times jerking in the right side of the abdomen or flank, in the evening (16th and 17th days). GENERAL ABDOMEN. Distension of the abdomen, with pressive pain, feeling of fullness, weakness, and disinclination for every motion or mental effort. Hard distension of the abdomen, with painfulness of the umbilical region, to touch. Abdomen distended. Distended abdomen, after eating. Abdomen very much distended. During the menses, much flatulence, bad taste in the mouth, and frequent eructations of bile. Incarceration flatulence, also after twenty days. Incarcerated flatulence, with colic. Incarceration of flatulence, followed by emission of an unusually large amount of wind. Movings about in the abdomen, followed by cutting in the stomach, with pressure extending up into the throat, during rest and motion. Movings about in the abdomen, with urging to stool, disappearing after emission of flatulence. Rumbling in the upper abdomen (before dinner), as before diarrhoea, with slight colic (1st day). Constant rumbling in the abdomen, with frequent eructations and yawning. Discharge of much flatulence (after 14 days). Emission of much flatulence, at night. Emission of flatulence difficult and impeded, with unsatisfactory stool. Emission of offensive flatulence; at night. Flatulence passes upward and downward, with relief. Many disturbances caused by flatulence (1St, 2nd and 3rd day). Urging to pass wind, he could scarcely restrain it. During the menses, pain in the abdomen, bad taste in the mouth, rumbling in the bowels, great weakness and sleepiness. Violent pain in the abdomen, which sometimes extends towards the hips, lasting till late into the night (1st day). Tormented by flatulence, for three nights in succession. Burning and drawing in the abdomen. Chilliness and swashing in the abdomen, as if it were full of water, though almost entirely upon the right side, in the evening. Feeling of coldness in the abdomen, as if a cold fluid passed through the intestines (during menstruation). Fullness, heat, and great distension in the abdomen, immediately after eating a little. Abdomen tense, very much distended (after the disappearance of the cough caused by Kali). Distension, dragging asunder; and griping in the abdomen, followed by soft stool. Spasmodic construction of the abdomen, causing coldness. Constrictive colic. Pinching colic in the upper abdomen, in the morning (11th day). Cramp like pain in the abdomen (25th day). Griping in the abdomen, in the morning in bed, preceded by chilliness, with urging to a soft stool. Griping in the upper abdomen, after taking soup at noon and in the evening, and also after eating warm cakes in the morning. At night, griping in the abdomen, at intervals, with nausea and constant eructations. Griping in the abdomen and distension of it. Griping in the bowels, with usual stool, followed by constant urging, lasting till afternoon, when a liquid stool followed (4th day). Violent drawing in the abdomen, arms, and legs, with bruised pain in the upper arm, worse during rest (1st day). Pressure in the abdomen. Pressive pain in the upper abdomen, as far as below the pit of the stomach, in the evening (35th day). Pressive flatulent colic, after breakfast, only transiently relieved by emission of flatus (14th day). At night, colic, from the slightest movement in bed, not during rest; dull sticking and pressure, as from an induration. Pressure in the bowels after a difficult scanty stool. During the menses, cutting in the abdomen. Cutting in the left side of the upper abdomen. Cutting and drawing in the abdomen, like false labor- pains (12th day). Cutting in the abdomen, as if everything would be torn to pieces, at first deep in the lower abdomen, then higher up (1st day). Cutting in the intestines; violent pain; in order to relieve it he is obliged to sit bent over, pressing with both hands, or to lean far back; he cannot sit upright. Cutting in the upper abdomen, as from flatulence moving about, with emission of flatus, while walking. Frequent cutting in the abdomen, as before diarrhoea. Cutting colic, for two hours at night, without subsequent stool, then in the morning pain in the small of the back and chest, and in the afternoon all the limbs feel bruised. Dull stitches and pressure in the left side of the upper abdomen (10th and 20th days). Colic and diarrhoea, at night. Colic with many eructations. Colic, with many eructations and spitting of saliva. Colic from flatulence. Flatulent colic, relieved by eructations and passage of wind. Sore pain in the abdomen, with pressure towards the genitals, as during menstruation, with pain in the small of the back. The abdominal muscles are painful to touch. Throbbing in the abdomen. Jerkings in the abdomen. During the cough, pain in the abdomen like a shock. HYPOGASTRIUM AND ILIAC REGION. Thickness of the lower abdomen. Gurgling in the left side of the lower abdomen on pressing upon it. Feeling of distension in the lower abdomen below the umbilicus, disappearing on moving about. Feeling of tension of the lower abdomen, and a sensation of heaviness in it, while sitting and walking. Pinching colic in the lower abdomen (30th day). Pressing outward of the lower abdomen, several times (after 10 days). Pressure in the lower abdomen (26th day). Pressive pain in the lower abdomen above the pubis in frequent paroxysms, disappearing on passing wind (1st day). Pressive pain in a small spot in the left lower abdomen, in the evening (39th day). Feeling of a heavy weight in the lower abdomen, more a pressive than pinching pain, most intolerable while walking (after 3 hours). Flatulence presses painfully upon the bladder (after 2 days). Twinging cutting sticking, deep in the left side of the lower abdomen, as from incarcerated flatulence, extending into the anus and perineum, painfully increased by retracting the abdomen, and somewhat relieved by emission of flatulence (19th day). Stitches in the lower abdomen, repeated in the forenoon and evening. Some violent stitches in the lower abdomen (after 6 hours). Intermitting tearing or dull stitches in the left side of the lower abdomen, near the hip (11th day). Pain in the right inguinal region, on drawing-in the abdomen (29th day). Painful distension in both groins, after dinner, while sitting. Pain in the right groin as if something there were swollen. Intermitting gurgling pressing outward in the right inguinal region (27th day). Griping in both groins followed by sticking in the anus as with needles, while sitting; still more severe after rising; it comes on while walking, and is aggravated on sitting, with urging to stool. Dragging in the groin with sensitiveness to touch (relieved after the emission of flatulence). During the ordinary stool, painful dragging towards the groins. Pressure in the groin as from a hernia. Sudden sticking pain in the left inguinal region, during stool with swelling of the glands. Drawing sticking and dragging outward in the inguinal region, as if the old scar of an operation for hernia would open. Stitches in the groins and flanks, on moving or stretching out. Abdomen very sensitive to touch.
