Stool

Diarrhoea. A little diarrhoea. Diarrhoea constant, and the evacuations passed away involuntarily; the bed was perfectly swamped. Diarrhoea like stool, consisting of brown frothy water, with excessively painful pressure, urging, and tenesmus in the anus (following a normal evacuation ); these stools were repeated seven or eight times, accompanied by constant pain in abdomen and by nausea and inclination to vomit, after which there followed sudden complete rest (tenth day). Very profuse diarrhoea like stools times (thirtieth to thirty fifth day). Stool in the evening, with some griping in the abdomen, tolerably consistent, followed by a diarrhoea like stool, after which there was a feeling of tenesmus for some time (seventeenth day). Evacuation towards evening somewhat formed, afterward like diarrhoea (thirty first day). Purging. In a small dose, a few centigrammes, it acts as a purgative. Slightly purged, the evacuation being of a greenish yellow color. Violent purging almost incessant, of mucus and blood; bowels evacuated as he lay in bed. Stools bloody and extremely painful. Dysenteric attack for several successive years, lasting about three week; frequent bloody motions, with gnawing pain at the navel, followed by ineffectual strain ing. In voluntary liquid stools had passed as see lay dressed on the bed (after 1 hour and half). Frequent rejections of dark coffee colored stools. Stool immediately after rising in the morning (unusual time ), followed by feeling of soreness in the anus (fifty nine day). Hard evacuation followed by burning in the anus, in the morning (ninety first day). Very hard lumpy (twenty second day). Stool scanty, lumpy, followed burning in anus (eighth day). Constipation. Disposition to constipation, and then symptoms aggravated. Constipation; no stool (seventh and eighth days); hard, unsatisfactory evacuation (ninth day). Constipation, with pain across the loins. Periodic constipation occurring every three months. Generally costive. Bowels habitually costive (reaction?). Bowels always costive. Evacuation of the bowels difficult and painful; faces extremely hard. Evacuation of the bowels hard and infrequent, accompanied by protrusion of the rectum, lasting fourteen days after the proving. Evacuation from the bowels scanty and hard (thirty seventh day). Scanty, hard stool followed by burning in the anus (thirty fourth day). Evacuation of the bowels towards noon extremely difficult hard and unsatisfactory (fifth day). Evacuation of the bowels suppressed (fourth day).

Urinary organs

Urethra. Escape of prostatic fluid at stool (fifth day). Building in the urethra, in the forepart of the penis, when urinating and for a long time afterward. Burning in the bulbus urethra, both when urinating and when not (twenty seventh day). Burning in the navicular fossa of the urethra while urinating (fifteenth day). Acute drawing from the perineum into the urethra (ninety fifth day). Sticking pain in the prostate gland, extremely violent and preventing walking, in the afternoon. Transient stitches in the urethra, especially after urinating (third day). Occasional smarting during micturition, which lasted two days (after fourth day). Irritation at the orifice of the meatus urinarius (male), “N n. Micturition. Frequent desire to pass urine. Constant urging to urinate the whole day without change in the quantity or color of the urine. Frequent micturition, with slight burning after urinating (eighth day). Frequent emission of very watery but very strong smelling urine woke him during the night, contrary to habit (twentieth day). Some time in passing urine (third day). Larynx, Trachea, and Bronchi. Seized with bronchitis soon after coming to the works, which continued in a chronic from for months. Accumulation of mucus in the air passages (twenty third day). Accumulation of mucus in the larynx, obliging hawking. Accumulation of mucus in the bronchi, and also in the nose, without real catarrh (sixteenth day). Great accumulation of mucus in the larynx and air passage, in the morning. Profuse secretion of mucus in the air passage, in the morning,; Ulceration and necrosis of the cartilages of the larynx. Sense of dryness in the bronchia (immediately, first day); on walking in morning; (second day), Pressure in the larynx, aggravated by talking; speech refused its service (first day). Soreness in larynx, on waking in morning (thirty first day). Scraping in the larynx with hoarseness; after disappearing it frequently returned for a moment, the hoarseness constantly increasing. Pain, as of ulceration in the larynx (fourth day). A dinner, after swallowing the first few mouthfuls, great tickling in the larynx, which went off on eating more (fourth day). Roughness in the larynx after rising in the morning, obliging frequent hawking (forty eighth day). Feeling of irritation in the larynx, causing to hawk up mucus; in the morning (third day). Irritation to cough (twenty second day). Irritation to cough and expectoration of thick white mucus (thirty first day). Tickling in the larynx extending into the mouth and ears (followed by a sensation of pressure), (first day). Tickling provoking cough (twenty third day). Tickling in larynx, causing cough and clearing of the throat (after first day). Much tickling in the larynx provoking short dry cough; tickling in the larynx was constant, and at times provoked cough or hawk ing (fifth day). Voice. Hoarseness and irritation to cough. Hoarseness and accumulation of mucus in the larynx, in the morning. Hoarseness and dry cough in the evening. Great hoarseness on waking in the morning increasing until noon, somewhat less after eating, then again becoming worse, with at times scraping in the larynx, with hawking of thick bronchial mucus during the whole day. Great hoarseness with pressure and scraping in the larynx, on waking in the morning, continuing to increase till late in the evening, when there was hawking of mucus, and still later burning in both eyes. Sudden excessive hoarseness and roughness of the voice in the evening. Rough hoarse voice (twenty second day). Cough and Expectoration. Cough, causing pain in middle of sternum, darting through to between the shoulders (third day). Cough after meals. Occasional cough caused by irritation in the trachea (seventy first day). Frequent short cough early in the morning and during the whole day fourth day). Hacking cough and hoarseness in the evening. Hacking cough caused by irritation in the air passage (fourth day). Dry cough in the after noon (one hundred and thirteenth day). Frequent sudden irritation to cough, followed by dry and difficult cough lasting some minutes. Dry hacking cough, with stitches in the chest. Dry hacking cough and hoarseness, in the evening. Constant irritation to cough with dry hacking cough, during the whole day. Sudden irritation provoking a dry hacking cough, in the evening. Short dry cough a few times in the evening (one hundred and tenth day). Frequent, short, dry cough (thirty ninth day), Dry tickling cough day and night; during the cough, pressure in the middle of the sternum extending up into the larynx and as far as the hyoid bone; when she coughed violently there was a taste of blood in the mouth; the paroxysms of cough were repeated very frequently, often every ten minutes; during the cough she frequently complained of pressive pain in the middle of the sternum and in the throat above the larynx in the region of the hyoid bone (sixth day);the cough continued several days, and was at last accompanied by expectoration coming from deep in the lungs, and having a sweetish, purulent taste and yellow color. Cough and sputa at intervals, about 4 P. M. (thirty first day). Cough, with expectoration of mucus, a few times during the day. Cough, with expectoration of thick mucus (forty ninth day). Cough in fits, last ing for ten minutes, from tickling at the bifurcation of the bronchi, with expectoration of reddish mucus. Cough caused by tickling in the larynx, with copious expectoration of thick lumps of bluish white mucus (thirty second day). Cough begins on walking in the morning; sputa free and thick, transparent, of a slaty color (thirty first day). Cough with expectoration of thick, yellow mucus, the sputa containing traces of blood (third day). Cough occasionally during the day with dense, transparent, small, lumpy sputa, easily expectorated (thirtieth day). Cough (with dyspnoea), especially in morn ing, With expectoration of white mucus “as tough as pitch,” and which could be drawn out into strings. Hard cough, with weight and soreness in the chest, and copious expectoration. Hard, dry cough, which lasted six weeks, when expectoration of dark gray mucus of the consistency of white of egg came on (after two weeks). Irritation to cough, with short hacking cough and expectoration of tenacious white mucus (second day). Occasional short hacking cough, with expectoration of tenacious mucus (third day). Frequent short hacking cough, which loosens lumps of tenacious mucus, followed for a short time by sensitiveness of the larynx, in the morning (nineteenth day). Very peculiar cough; it seemed as though an acid and acrid liquid flowed from the choanae over the curtain of the palate, uvula, and posterior wall of the pharynx, and provoked cough; this tickling cough frequently recurred during the fourteenth and fifteenth days, and also once at night. The tickling cough reappeared (eighteenth day), and was followed by expectoration of bright red blood in six or seven paroxysms; I was unable to tell from the sensation whence the blood came; the lungs were free on deep inspiration, and the pulse not feverish; on account of this I took Phosphorus, and the spitting of blood did not return that day. “Stuffing ” cough with pain at the chest, and expectoration of yellowish heavy tough matter. Chronic loud cough from “Stuffing” at the epigastrium, chiefly on waking in the morning; He has then a fit of coughing and expectoration of tough mucus with lightness in the head. Cough with expectoration of yellowish green tough matter. Cough at first dry, but speedily followed by expectoration of dark color very tough mucus. A feeling of anxiety and warmth in the precordial region woke me at 11 p. m. soon after which I expectorated rather a large amount of blood with short paroxysms of cough and rattling in the air passages; This cough and expectoration of blood were repeated regularly every 2 hours during the next 24 hours; The whole amount of blood was half a pound; It was always bright red, never mixed with mucus and always expectorated easily and without exertion; Next day the posterior wall of the pharynx dark red glistening, swollen, injected with small bright red vessels and in the middle, somewhat to the left a small fissure from which some blood issued (on account of this I took Hyoscyamus which with a generous use of milk completely restored me); during this time however there was frequently felt on swallowing a sensation as though a morsel were sticking in the throat; Also I frequently suddenly hoarse, and then felt scraping on the posterior wall of the curtain if the palate and in the choanae; frequently tenacious mucus was drawn from these parts; It was difficult to loosen, and when loosened had a metallic taste; also I experienced boring drawing pains in the bones of the upper and lower extremities (as often as these appeared the troubles in the throat were relieved as vice versa). Expectoration of mucus. Expectoration of thick mucus (one hundred and thirteenth day) Expectoration of tough light colored sputa (after oppression at pit of stomach). Expectoration of very tough mucus, so viscid that it drew in strings down to the feet. Frequent expectoration of thick mucus (sixty first day). Frequent hawking and expectoration of tenacious, yellowish white mucus, which accumulates in large quantities in the air- passages, followed by relief of the hoarseness. Copious expectoration of pasty mucus (fifth day). Easy, copious expectoration of white mucus of salty taste(fourth day). Hawking of thick mucus, with sensitiveness of the larynx and trachea, in the morning(one hundred and eleventh day). RESPIRATION. Fetid breath. Respiration rapid. Shortness of breath, as if something was tied round the upper belly, so that he could not take a deep breath, equal in all positions and circumstances, without cough or pain in chest. Oppression of breathing (one hundred and twenty-first day). Breathing somewhat difficult. (0.12gr.). Dyspnoea. Dyspnoea, especially in morning. Dyspnoea in sleep. Dyspnoea with much cough and expectoration of black tough mucus, difficult to detach. Slight dyspnoea on rising in the morning, as if the mucous membrane of the bronchi were thickened (10th day).
