Phosphorus



Skin hot (fifth day). Skin of the whole body very hot, alternating with chilly sensations, in the night, then profuse perspiration, during sleep. Heat in the head and chest on excited talking. Heat in the head, with dulness, better by moving about.

Much heat, and sensation of heat in the head, especially in the forehead and face (also in the hands), at times with throbbing in the head, at times mounting up (from the back), and disappearing in the cool, open air. Heat in the head, then in the whole body, and also in the feet, as if sweat would break out, an hour after dinner. Heat and perspiration on the head and hands, even on the feet, with only moderate external warmth, lasting three minutes; afterwards, about 2 o’clock, almost every half an hour, and also the following day, though at though at longer intervals, and even in the open air. Increased heat in the head (after one hour and a half). Transient heat and perspiration on the head and hands (after two hours). Heat and redness of the face, with slight perspiration on the forehead and dulness of the head (after twelve hours). Heat and redness of the ear. Violent heat in the face, with red spots after washing. Much heat in the face, immediately after eating. Great heat in the face, towards evening (after fourteen days). Much heat, in the evening, especially in the face, with vertigo (after eight days). Frequent paroxysms of heat, especially in the face, with dryness of the mouth, without thirst. Heat of the cheeks (first day). Glowing heat of one or the other cheek, every evening, lasting two hours, without thirst. Temperature 39.8* in the axilla (second day). The chest is very warm externally. Feverish feel in hands and feet, at night. Feet, which were habitually cold, very warm (after one hour and a half). Sweat. Profuse perspiration over the whole body (second day). Profuse sweats; (seventh day). General perspiration (fourth day). She perspires very profusely on slight exertion.

The patient sweated profusely, and the vapor arising from the body gave out an intensely phosphoric odor, particularly perceptible on raising the bedclothes; sweat more profuse and odor stronger in the evening (fourth day). Perspiration smelling of sulphur. Free perspiration (fourth day). Perspiration during dinner. Perspiration on the body, with coldness of the head. Perspiration all over, every morning, exhausting him (after twenty-four hours). Increased perspiration and secretion of urine. Flushes of perspiration, in the forenoon. Perspiration, in the morning, lasting three days. Perspiration, in the morning, in bed, especially about the feet and hands. Anxious perspiration (after a few hours). Perspiration during sleep, after midnight, lasting till morning, without thirst. Perspiration and feeling of anxiety, towards morning. Slight perspiration, after waking, in the morning (third and fourth days). Skin moist (fifth day).

Perspiration at first only on the anterior half of the body, especially on the abdomen, afterwards on the chest, then under the shoulders and on the back, disappearing during dinner.

Profuse perspiration, especially on the head and chest.

Perspiration on the head and hands, frequently alternating with transient coldness (after three days). Perspiration only on the head, afterwards in the house, after moving about in the open air (after one hour. Perspiration only on the head and palms of the hands, after eating soup (after one hour and a half).

Perspiration on the forehead luminous. (* Not found.-HUGHES. *) Forehead covered with perspiration. Sweat on the forehead.

Perspiration on the face, with coldness o fit and nausea, in the forenoon. Perspiration on the palms (after three-quarters of an hour). Moisture all over the body, but more particularly in the palms of the hands and on the chest (after one hour and a half).

Sweat on the feet. Surface cold, and bedewed with a perceptible though slight moisture. Skin covered with clammy perspiration.

Cold clammy sweat (third day). Whole body covered with cold sweat, towards evening (eighth day). Skin moist, and not particularly hot; there was a peculiar garlicky smell on approaching the bed (second day). Skin covered with cold sweat (fourth day). Profuse night sweat (first night). Night sweat (after one, and five days). Perspiration and turbid urine at night, preceded by weakness all day, immediately. Night sweat for six nights (after four days).

(Afternoon), Good-humored; dizziness; headache; while sitting, tearing in head; pain in forehead; 3 to 6 P.M., pain in back and left side of head; while sitting, sticking and tearing in right eyeball; heartburn; 1 to 11 P.M., nausea; griping in abdomen; griping jerk in lower abdomen; 5 P.M., fulness about chest; swelling in axilla; nervous symptoms; pimples over body; 1 to 5 P.M., chills; internal chilliness; coldness; while sitting, rising of heat from back into head.
