Phosphorus



Burning on the tongue, afterwards extending to the soft palate.

Burning posteriorly on the right side of the tongue. A bloody fluid constantly followed from the left corner of the mouth (fourth day). Bloody erosions here and there in the inner surface of the cheek.

Sensation of blood in the mouth. Dryness in the mouth, with very cold feet. Dryness and rawness of the palate, in the forenoon.

Excessively dry sensation in the mouth, glutinous, with violent thirst; though he drank much water the thirst was not relieved.

Sensation of dryness in the mouth, with burning on the tongue, compelling to drink at night. Constant alternation of dryness and moisture in the mouth. Much hawking of mucus, in the morning. Constant ineffectual hawking (after half an hour). Tenacious mucus hawked up (fourth day). The mucus that was hawked up had a sour taste. Waked with considerable mucous accumulation in the throat, expectorated with difficulty (fifth day). Gray salty expectoration, by hawking. The mucus hawked up in the morning is cool. Acidity in the throat, and scraping in the pharynx. Rancidity in the throat. Sweet taste in the throat, that causes accumulation of saliva (after an hour and a half). Full up into the throat; it takes away her appetite.

Sensation as though he had eaten something rancid, so that the throat became quite raw. Dryness of the throat, so that she could scarcely swallow, in the morning, on waking, disappearing after eating. Throat dry and parched; (first night). Throat dry and burning (first day). Extreme dryness of the throat (second day).
