HEADACHE



Internal and external sensation of coldness on right side of head as if a piece of ice were lying there; worse from change of weather; in early morning from motion and in open air, better on lying down. Sore pain in occiput, worse from touch and in wet weather, better from scratching and rubbing.

Stinging on vertex in evening, worse in wet, better in dry weather and from rubbing.

Swelling in bones of skull, inflamed with sticking pain and hammering, ending in suppuration; worse from damp cold weather, better on touching and rubbing.

Congestive headache with violent surging of blood in head which feels hot and heavy with pale face and cold feet.

Head becomes cold very easily which causes a headache as if a board lay upon head with oppressive pain in head and chilliness in whole body.

Sensation as if a board were pressed against head with dullness of mind.

Tearing in bones of head.

Brain feels hot and burning.

Throbbing headache in middle of brain every morning and continuing whole day.

Chronic headaches depending upon brain fag.

Pain at roots of hair; hair bristles up when chilled.

Bald bare spots, size of palm of hand, without a single hair.

Concussive stitching, pulsating, pain in head as if would split with cough.

Congestion to head with heat and stupefying headache; with red puffed face; with toothache; during night; worse in morning when awaking; from spirituous drinks and in menorrhagia and tuberculosis, cramp-like tearing in scalp.

Heavy tired feeling as if she would be crazy.

Tearing headache over eyes, down to nose with nausea.

Headache accompanied by cold feet.

Head as if enlarged.

Head feels as if it would burst.

Heaviness in forehead worse when reading or writing.

Pressing pain with sensation of fullness and heaviness and pulsation in head.

Hammering headache on top of head.

Headache rising from nape of neck, from awaking early in morning, cannot sleep after 3 A.M.; begins in occiput and spreads to top of head, so severe that patient think head will burst or that she will go crazy.

Stupefying headache from 3 A.M. till afternoon, better closing eyes, vomiting mucus and bile, lying down, tight bandaging, pressure and cold applications.

Headache from overlifting, worse by thinking about it, mental exertion, sexual excesses, spirituous liquors, talking, looking up, reading or writing, hot sun, stooping, ascending stairs, walking in open air, in a draft, by taking cold, lifting, getting wet, during dentition, in school children.

Left-sided headache.

School-girls headache.

Sick headache on left side with scanty menses; on right side with profuse menses.

Great heat in head perceptible at times to hands held two or three inches from it.

Headache accompanied by heat of face.

Head feels hot heavy and dull.

Hydrocephalic enlargement of head.

Before menses aching in middle of forehead with nausea.

Fullness, heaviness like too much blood in forehead, from excitement during menses, general debility.

Burning in vertex with menstrual derangements.

Pain from neck upward and forward.

Tearing, shooting, throbbing in one side of head.

Wandering pain in head.

Aching pain at root of nose, aggravated by draft of air, and dampness; pain in right hip-joint and shoulder.

Pain in root of nose accompanied by wind colic after supper, with choking and constipation.
