As for the optic (cataractous) lenses-the continuous deposition in their translucent structure of carbonates from the blood and tissue fluids had converted them into fibrous structures-optical fibroids-just as carbonate deposition in the musculature of the female uterus causes fibroid growths.
These case histories taken at random from experiences over years could be added to-almost indefinitely. They are not cited only because of the results obtained in opposition to routine orthodox medical practice, but to show the rational nature of the reasoning upon which their simple but curative therapy was based.
Edward Henty Smalpage (1895-1962), was an Australian doctor. He netered medical school at Sydney at age 16. He went into Military service after that. After leaving services on medical grounds (epilepsy), he cleared FRCS from England in 1921. In 1940 he published the book Cancer, it's Cause, Prevention and Cure.
