Miasmatic Treatment:
Dr. Deepak Sharma continues: “If we are going through complete miasmatic study of the individual in early stages then we can easily find out about the disease for which an individual is prone to suffer. Then, we can apply the antimiasmatic therapy as a preventive measure which causes a decline in the tendency for the progression of the miasm.”
The author confirms his statement since he has experienced and observed this fact in his patients. How? Acetic acid (Glacial acetic acid) 6c, 30c: Large quantity of pale urine, unquenchable thirst, and great debility.
Abroma augusta 2X, 3X: Frequent and profuse urination, dryness of the mouth and great thirst, urination leads exhaustion, fishy odour of the urine, diabetes mellitus and insipidus.
Argentum metallicum (Silver) 6c, 30c, 200c: Polyuria, frequent urination, urine profuse at night, turbid and sweetish odor, restless sleep, frightful dreams, edematous swollen feet, flatulent distention of abdomen.
Arsenicum album (Arsenic trioxide) 6c, 30c: Urine scanty, burning albuminous, ascites, all prevailing debility, restlessness, burning thirst, drinks often but little at time.
Codeinum (An Alkaloid from Opium) 3X: Sugar in urine, quantity of urine increased, great thirst, it is said to control disease.
Cephalandra indica (Telakucha) 1X, 3X: DM and insipidus with profuse urination; weakness and exhaustion after urination; sugar in the urine.
Gymnesa sylvestre (Meshasringi or Gurmar) 3x, 6c: Is almost specific for DM called as “Sugar Killer” diminishes sugar in urine; Profuse miturition loaded with sugar, extreme weakness after passing large quantities of urine. Polyuria; day and night.
Helleborus (Snow-rose) 3X, 3c: Frequent urging to urinate but small quantities emitted, profuse urination, urine pale and watery, dropsical swelling.
Helonias-Chamailirium (Uricorn-root) 6c: DM and insipidus, urine profuse and clear, phosphatic and albuminous, great thirst, restlessness, profound melancholy, irritable, boring pain across the lumbar region.
Insulinum 3X, 6X: Supposed to be specific and useful in case of carbuncles resulting from DM.
Lacticum acidum (Lactic acid) 6c, 30c: Frequent passing of large quantities of sugar in urine, great thirst, rheumatic pains in joints.” According to Dr. Deepak Sharma.
The author says: “Lachesis mutus 30c; patients usually suffer cardiac symptoms with constitution of the remedy. It has been experienced by the author as one of the most commonly used remedies in diabetics with cardiac symptoms and diabetic ulcers.”
The author continues: “Lycopodium clavatum 30 c; is also one of the most commonly prescribed homeopathic remedies in diabetics. Mainly men and women with domineering characteristics, thus some managers and leaders need it to calm down their anger and love of power. FPG rises in spells of anger. They cannot control their appetite, that is another main cause of worsening their condition. About 40% of his patients have been found to need the remedy. It also covers all miasms and is considered one of the best anti-miasmatic remedies.”
Dr. Deepak Sharma continues: “Natrum Phosphoricum 6X, 12X and Natrum Sulphuricum 3X, 12X, 30c: They are of great value in diabetics. The main characteristics are; profuse urination, urine loaded with bile, lithic deposition in urine, sedentary habits especially when there is a succession of boils.
Phosphoricum acidum (Phosphoric acid) 2X, 30c: Patients have frequent and profuse watery urination, milk-like urine with great debility.
Phosphorus 3c, 30c: DM accompanied by phthisis and impotency. Urine contains large amount of salt in the morning and excess of sugar in the evening.
Plumbum metallicum (Lead) 6c, 30c: Urine is frequent, scanty, albuminous with low specific gravity.
Rhus aromatica (Fragrant sumach) Tincture in rather material doses; large quantity of pale urine, albuminous with low specific gravity are the main characteristics.
Syzygium Jambolanum (Jambol seeds) Mother tincture, 2x, 3x: It has a specific action in disappearance of sugar in urine. Patients have great thirst, weakness and urine in very large quantities with high specific gravity. Ten drops is to be taken twice or thrice daily.”
The author says: “Age and vitality of patients must be considered; the older the patient the less he/she needs of remedy. Patients may experience a short duration of FPG increase along with or without violent leg pain. One of my patients Mrs. F.V.is a lady aged 80 that was treated with Syzy; 5 drops before meals three times a day for three days along with a single dose of Lachesis 30 10 drops of the first glass of remedy, at a Charity Clinic. She experienced a moderate limbs pain that disappeared after discharge of Syzyg. Then her last FBS’s were 100-106 mg/dl after three months of taking the remdies along with Insulin. Her condition is better now mentally and physically according to her home-nurse.”
Dr. Sharma continues: “Uranium nitricum (Nitrate of Uranium) 3X, 30c: The pateints have profuse urination, debility, acid in urine, incontinence. They are also unable to retain urine, have excessive thirst and diarrhea of dyspeptics.
Terebinthinum (Turpentine) 3c, 6c: Profuse, cloudy, smoky and albuminous urine with sediments like coffee grounds and haematuria are patients’ main symptoms.
