HERE I AM EXPLAINING FEW CASES OF MINE WHICH ARE ACUTE, SUB ACUTE AND CHRONIC ONE. IN FEW CHRONIC CASES I MENTIONED JUSTIFICATION. WHEN WE DO ANYTHING IN HOMOEPATHY IT HAS A STRONG BASE.
CASE – 1
Mrs. XYZ, aged 24, was positive that she was pregnant, 2 months. – Took many drugs to rid herself of the foetus. – One day she rode on a horse about three miles, and noticed that she was flooding before reaching her destination. – Was put to bed, and after several severe pains the foetus was extruded. – The hemorrhage was profuse and painless, and bright red. – When I arrived, her face was Pale & earthy. – and she frequently gasped for breath. – The slightest motion would cause a gush of blood, which was followed by a deathly sinking at the epigastrium..
CASE – 2
Mrs. xyz, about 35, has been subject to morning diarrhea since the latter months of pregnancy four years ago. – It commences on rising at 6 or 7 a.m. and is liable to recur until noon; – before stool there is cutting pain at the lower part of the abdomen, and – after stool there is pain up the nape of neck, followed by weakness at the bottom of the back. – Always worse during pregnancy.
CASE – 3
A young lady, about 28 years, (single), ceased to menstruate after taking cold and suffered thereby for several months from dizziness in the head; face alternately flushed, and then pale; delirium at night; frequent feeling of chilliness; dull headache; restlessness; cannot keep the hands still; constantly making various motions with them, as in chorea; feet and hands cold.
CASE – 4
Mrs. A. vomited all food soon after eating, and ‘naturally’ had painful “goneness” or empty feeling in stomach all the time.

- Urine cloudy and offensive, with a hard crust settling at the bottom of the vessel which is difficult to scrape

CASE – 5
A 32 yrs old lady having pregnancy of 4 weeks, complaints of low backache, aggravation by rest and feels better after gentle exercise. She has severe acidity and nausea with frequent hunger. fatty food aggravates her so she dislike it..Thermally chilly, stools unsatisfactory, takes laxatives occasionally. She has taken homoeopathic treatment for skin eruptions on neck 2 yrs ago. Mother has skin disease and father is Diabetic. She is the eldest daughter of the family. She is very shy and quite type of a girl. She is very introvert and does not like to talk much to people. she loves to spend time with herself. She is very responsible and sincere kind of a girl. Likes to do things on time. She is very creative in nature. She likes to read different types of books. She is interested in learning new things. She gets angry when not paid attention to what she says. She weeps when some- one speaks harsh to her, she is very sensitive in nature. She cannot reply back. She keeps things to her- self and cannot speak on face. she remembers the hurt for a long time. there is tenderness over lumber spine with moderate swelling and the place feels little warm.All her parameters were normal. She cannot sit on ground by folding her legs and cannot stand for long time. x-ray shows Lumbar Spasm with lumber lordosis.
Clinical diagnosis was lumbo-sacral strain with lumbar lordosis.A dose of Pulsatilla 200 followed by Rhus Tox 200 in gap of 10 days relieved the case. Here repertorization is done with BBCR. In few cases of pain, modalities work as key note. Here the behaviour timidity and patience of the patient showed the way of simillimum. In our day to day practice we consider ‘Weeping Disposition’ as a landmark of PULSATILLA. Here the patient is not a weeping lady but still she got significant result. If you read aph.3 and aph.6 you will come to know the importance of being UNPREJUDICED. Dr. Hahnemann said to be unprejudiced of patient as well as Materia Medica.
CASE – 6
A 40 yrs old female suffering from stiffness, weakness and pain in lower portion of back mostly in morning and feels better by stretching. She had these complaints since the last 16 years, but they were more severe since the last 6 months She described herself as an anxious and irritable person. She was very hard working and sincere by nature. She had devoted her life for the family. Previously her 5 Brother in laws also stayed with her. Her husband being the eldest son, had responsibilities of the entire family. She cooperated in settling each of the brothers-in- law. She was strict, and would shout on them if they did not listen, she would hit her children if they misbehaved or disobeyed. She said, Managing the big family responsibility made her very exhausted and irritable. She has pain in hips, thighs and both legs. She feels uneasy and painful whenever any part of body become cold. Nothing specific about appetite and thirst. There is h/o skin eruptions 10 yrs ago, piles 8 yrs ago and Gout 4 yrs ago. All treated allopathically. Her mother died due to cardiomegaly and father has Asthma.SLR : RIGHT: 450 LEFT: 450 ANA- POSITIVECLINICAL DIAGNOSIS: ANKYLOSING SPONDYLOSIS.In the above case I prescribed silicea, not due to its highest ranking but due to the symptoms of conscientiousness, hard working and h/o over responsibilities. The patient is chilly and most important factor is –she feels uneasy and painful when any body part becomes cold.
CASE – 7
A CASE of Appendicitis Master Raju eleven year old boy who has had the flu for the last week, with nausea & vomiting & intermittent mild stomach pain. He had mostly recovered yesterday, but today his parent call saying that he has developed severe abdominal pain in the last two hours, which started at 9pm.They are thinking of sending him to the emergency room, as they are worried about appendicitis, but are willing to give a chance to homeo medication. The pain is stitching in character & predominantly on the right side of abdomen. He is very thirsty for cold drinks, but vomits immediate by after drinking. The pain is worse with motion. He has been having diarrhea every morning when he gets up. He is quite irritable. There is no fever.The physical generals and modalities solved the case.
CASE – 8
A 53 yrs old male visited me for AIDS. He is taking allopathic treatment since 5 yrs. At present CD-4 count is 462[24%].H/o patient in his own words–‘My father is not fit mentally, having very slow perception. my mother got married with another person when I was 6 months old.i was looked after by grand mother and uncle. I never got love and affection. my aunt interrupted my education. then I left my village and came to Nagpur. Here I took training of TV repairing. I got married. I built my own home and shop, but I was not aware much about this world as
I am a villageman, my wife’s brother cheated me and registered my house in his name. My wife also flavored her brother and took divorce from me. They threw me out from my home. I have two kids but my wife never allowed me to meet them. I got divorce 12 yrs ago after living together for 10 yrs. then I met an accident 2 months after divorce. I wasn’t able to do household work and nobody was there to take my care.i didn’t get proper nutrition. headache, weakness and loss of weight attacked me.i went to medical hospital where doctors diagnosed me as tubercular patient. As no medicine was working properly doctors did my HIV test and it came positive. but I have not done anything wrong. when I had touring job I used to take injectibles and tablets from any doctor for every slight disorder. I still keep a medicinal kit along with me [he showed his kit to me.it had pain killers, antibiotics and antacids].I took lot of medicines throughout my life. In childhood I had frequent cough and cold. I get trembling in my feet when exposed to very cold air but I can not tolerate hot weather.I eat tobacco 4 times a day.I get constipation from this AIDS medicine. pls treat me and take the fees according to my circumstances. I faced so many sufferings in my life. last yr I got married again but I am taking care during sex as I am hiv positivee.she is a poor lady, i have to think about her.”he has slow perception, suffered a lot, faced insults and humilation and very simple and truthful person, shared everything in detail.In this case I was puzzled a lot. Gross pathology was there. But the picture was not clear, so I first prescribed TEUCRIUM MARUM VERUM 200 single dose and call patient after 20 days.Why teucrium??-Suitable after too much medicine has been taken. Trembling sensation in various parts are the clinical indications of teucrium..then I retook the case.
taking, got clear picture to proceed. afterwards I prescribed lyco 0/1 in aqua solution. When pathology is deep think about LM potency.
CASE – 9
A 48 yrs lady complaints of painful breasts with pus from left nipple and serum from right nipple since 1 yr.She has fear of cancer.There is h/o piles treated with some ayurvedic medicines 1 yr ago. H/o amenorrhoea for 3 months six months ago. H/o leucorrhoea 12 months ago. She is a multipara, seven pregnency,2 issues normal, 1 handicapp and 1 mentally retarded son,1 abortion done as foetus was sfd.Two male issues died at age of 3 months and 8 monyhs respectively.The reason of their death was some sickness [she said one child died due to Tetanus, but she is not sure.as she is an illiterate lady and was not able to explain it].Throughout her life she struggled a lot with low economic conditions. Her husband has no job only she carried the responsibilities of the family. Great anxiety about finance and future of children is there. she is very impatient, takes tablets and injections frequently for headache as she cannot tolerate it. There is a h/o honey bee sting 3 yrs ago. swelling on face is on and off. She has pain in elbow and numbness in palms. She has consumed lot of medicines in her life. She answered every question in detail and by giving reasons and explainations behind it. She has positive apporach towards life though facing so many problems in her day to day life.
Here i prescribed Calc.Sulph 30 as it is useful in septic conditions, where pus has found a vent, in third stage of inflammation. Purulent, yellow, thick discharges from septic conditions- Onanism, sexual excess-Suppressed venereal disease-Injury-Inset bite-Ill effects of antibiotics – Dr. Schussler’s Connective Tissue Remedy. Tendency to suppuration; unhealthy skin; does not heal rapidly. name remedy is calc.sulph, this case is solved with Murphy’s rep
CASE – 10
.Patient: Known case of psoriasis since 13yrs. Malaria suppressed many time. He brought a printed pg of his journey of disease written systematically. He is fastidious, sensitive, solitude loving, stress carrying person. Honour wounded. now joined a new job 3 yrs ago but feels that as he is not much familiar with this work and always under disease, he has to tolerate heavy scolding daily so feeling of embarrassment is there. His childhood was very troublesome, frightful and lonely hence he became introverted. he says due to this disease and pain ‘ I WON’T LIVE LONG’. Ailments from stress. His wife is lively and positive. His daughter is suffering from hyperthyroidism.
The history written by patient himself is h/o eczema 35 yrs ago, h/o acute bronchitis 24 yrs ago, c/o hypertension since 20 yrs, psoriasis since 13 yrs then malaria treated with allopathy followed by arthritis since 13 yrs. Diabetes detected 7 yrs back, Bronchiectasis detected 3 yrs ago now he has depression too. He gets dehydrated specially during sleep, get up with cramps, headache and dry throat 3.-4 times a night. After reporterisation frpom complete repertory, I got sulph 22/9, nux.vom and phos 21/9, arsenic and sepia 24/8, lyco 22/8, kali 18/8, merc 16/8, lanh 21/7, nat.mur 20/7, sil 19/7, calc 16/7 etc. Here nat.mur got less marks but still I prescribed it and got amazing results. I gave him NM on my clinical observationsA deep grief and constant water in eyes. it is not the rule that you should prescribe according to repertorial chart always, as repertory only give us the return feedback which we already insert in it. It gives us the group of simillimun but don’t forget that it is your mind and eyes who is responsible for selection of rubrics. Repertorisation is a mechanical method. so apart from repertory give a touch of FEELINGS to your clinical observation. Repertorization is a part of science and clinical observation is an art. My friends always remember why Homoeopathy is called as art &science!!
