Argentum Nitricum [Arg-n]
Useful in thin, dried up patients. Gnawing, ulcerating pains.
Arsenicum [Ars]
Sharp, lancinating pains, as though hot coals were burning the part; a red hot knife thrust into the part could not be worse. Extreme restlessness.
It may be of use, but does not frequently cure. It has cured Epithelioma, but in genuine open Cancer, it sometimes relieves when indicated.
Arsenicum Iodatum [Ars-i]
In some cases, it relieves, when Arsenicum fails.
Belladonna [Bell]
In some cases, it brings relief, where Arsenicum fails.
Bromine [ ]
A very useful remedy in Cancer of the mammary gland.
Burning and cutting pains, sometimes so marked, that it
feels as if a string were pulling the gland into the axilla [Crot. Tig., Paris Q.]. The breast is hard and on palpation, a dull, subdued sort of throbbing may be felt in it.
Carbo Animals [Carb-an]
Particularly useful in Cancer of the breast or of uterus.
In mammary Cancer the glands are indurated into little nodes or small circumscribed portions which are as hard as stone; later, the skin around the indurations becomes bluish and mottled. The axillary gland on the affected side becomes indurated and there are burning, drawing pains through the mammae.
In Cancer of the uterus induration of the cervix. Metrorrhagia and burning pains extending down the thighs and thin, offensive vaginal discharge.
Carbo Vegetabilis [Carb-v]
Burning pains and mottled appearance of the surrounding skin.
It is also useful in cancerous ulcers as in ulcerating Scirrhus.
Cicuta Virosa [Cic]
The cancerous growth is covered by honey-colored scab.
It has cured two cases of Epithelioma.
Clematis [Clem]
Has cured of Epithelioma.
Conium [Con]
Has cured Epithelioma.
It is also indicated in the beginning of Scirrhus. Glands affected are of a stony hardness; usually there is little or no pain, although sometimes there may be darting pains.
Hydrastis [Hydr]
Has cured Epithelioma and it may be a remedy for uterine Cancer. Have been used both internally and externally, when indicated by its characteristic symptoms.
Esp. it has marked goneness at the epigastrium and palpitation after every motion.
Iodine [Iod]
Indicated in the Cancer of uterus, particularly with profuse Leucorrhoea, which is characteristic, being yellowish and very corrosive; this in conjunction with sallow, tawny skin, increased appetite, etc., makes it the remedy, which will relieve many cases and cure some.
Kali Bichromicum [Kali-bi]
May be useful in Cancer of the stomach.
Kreosotum [Kreos]
Cancerous ulcer of the cervix uteri, with very acrid Leucorrhoea, excoriating the parts over which it flows. Burning, sensitiveness and tumefaction of the cervix,
with bloody ichorous discharges, sensitiveness to touch or to coitus, and putridity.
Lachesis [Lach]
Same symptoms as in Carbuncle.
The remedy should be accompanied with Brandy.
Lapis Alba [Lap-a]
Used by Grauvogl, who cured several cases of Scirrhus with it.
Morphia [Morph]
Extreme susceptibility to pain; pains are so violent as to threaten convulsions or cause twitching and jerking of the limbs.
It does not cure, but relieves the pain.
Phosphorus [Phos]
Cancer of the stomach, with pain in stomach, vomiting of food as soon as taken-the vomited matters containing a dark, grumous, semi-solid substance looking like coffee-grounds and haematemesis.
It is particularly useful, when the Cancer is about to pass into the stage of ulceration.
Vinca Minor.
Useful in post-climacteric haemorrhages due to Carcinoma.
