EDITORIAL NOTES AND COMMENTS

Believing these things, I shall, to the best of my ability practice in harmony with the tenets here in before stated.

To us it would seem as though the above fairly represents a platform upon which all conscientious homoeopaths can stand.

HOMOEOPATHY TO THE FRONT.-

The Eastern Homoeopathic Medical Association will hold its second annual convention in Albany, N.Y., on October 17,18,19 and 20, 1923.

All physicians of the homoeopathic school residing in the New England and Middle Atlantic States are members. The editor of THE HOMOEOPATHIC RECORDER has been appointed by President Kinne, of Albany, chairman of the bureau of homoeopathic materia medica, an appointment unsought and the great responsibilities of which are only too well known and understood by him. Nevertheless, as a consistent supporter of the best interests of homoeopathy, he has felt it his duty to accept the severe obligations put upon him.

In a sense he regards the appointment as a challenge, as well as an honor. He necessarily must have the whole-hearted, earnest, faithful co-operation of those who believe in and are striving to uphold the principles of homoeopathy; he cannot do the job alone; he has promised President Kinne his own faithful co-operation and will keep his promise, as he is not in the habit of shirking a duty. He calls, therefore, upon homoeopaths to help; the job is theirs as well as his; if he fails, it will be because of their failure as well, and the disgrace will belong to homoeopaths in general.

There must be no failure! Contributors to this bureau are therefore wanted; papers to occupy not longer than twenty minutes and to be formally discussed by three discussors. Essayists must promise to be present at the convention, as their papers can have no value without them and will be read by title only. Verifications of remedies, drug provings, experiences with new remedies, new light on old remedies, are all in order. We ask that contributors address the editor, Dr.R.F. Rabe, 616 Madison Avenue, New York City.
