Take no food after breakfast, and at night take half to one drachm of the oil followed half an hour later with a dose of some good purgative such as Castor Oil. The taste of the Cade may be covered with ext. Liquorice or any other desirable flavouring agent.
A few breakfasts consisting solely of freshly shredded Coconut will clear worms from children.

Note.-It is not reasonable to expect medicines to correct a prolapsed stomach and sagging intestines without other aid. On the continent (before world war two) there was a health home where patients suffering from these disorders were not permitted to stand upright. For three or four weeks they were kept in the horizontal position and were encouraged to walk on “all fours.” This not only enabled the organs to assume the correct position, but the walking on hands and feet provided an ideal system of exercise for the abdominal viscera. Most cases were sent home cured. Sufferers should avoid all heavy meals and take four or five exceptionally light meals during the day, thus giving the stomach an opportunity to correct its position. Heavy meals are unlikely to provide nourishment; much the reverse-they will delay digestion and cause toxaemia.
Angelica Tea is a curative beverage.
