BRYONIA


Wilhelm Karo gives a detail description of the female symptoms of homeopathy remedy Bryonia, in his book Homeopathy in Women’s Disease, published in 1942….


      The drug is especially indicated in slender women, in nervous and bilious patients, easily irritated and in rheumatic women.

General Symptoms.

      Yellowish complexion, perspiration. Aggravation by movement by touching, in the open air, during the night and early in the morning. Better when lying on the diseased side, by strong pressure on the affected part, when keeping quite and by warmth. Very thirsty. Pains are pricking.

Special Symptoms.

      Pinching pain in the womb before menstruation. Vicarious menstruation with bleeding from the nose.

Menstruation too early and profuse, with dark red blood, smelling badly; tearing pains through the legs.

Leucorrhoea with frequent shiverings.

Metrorrhagia with burning pain in the womb.
