Homeopathy Remedy Magnesia Carbonica



Fingers. Inflamed swelling, with sticking in first joint of index. Tearing on dorsal surface of first phalanx of r. little at 9 A.M., in first joints of r. at 5 P.M.; in l thumb and index evenings, then paralysis of both fingers; in first joint of r thumb, extending to nail; in tips, extending to backs of hands, in morning after rising. Boring gnawing in first phalanx of l thumb, as if in marrow, in forenoon. Pain in first joint of r. middle as if dislocated at 6 P.M. Cramplike sensation in joints. Throbbing pain as from an ulcer in tip of l. thumb after dinner, (>) pressure. Tension in middle joint of l. middle, mornings.

Lower Extremities

      Sudden jerking in l. in evening after falling asleep, so that she started up in fright and could not sleep again for along time. Pain in afternoon, (<) knees. Uneasiness after prolonged sitting. Weakness when sitting and on rising from a seat (>) moving about.

Thigh. Jerking posteriorly in hip, then in r. hypochondrium. Stitches in l. hip-joint; in l. hip at outer surface of bone. Tearing on anterior surface from centre to knee; T. from middle down to middle of leg, (>) rising from seat, with stitches; in l. hip-joint from 4 P.M. till morning. Twinging in l. hip and sacral region when walking after dinner, then desire for stool preceded and accompanied by cutting in rectum. Pain till evening; P. in hip, (<) motion. Bruised pain in l. femur from above knee to middle when walking. Weariness at 5.30 P.M., (<) walking.

Knee. Hard swelling in hollow, with pain, preventing stretching of leg. Sticking. Tearing in r. when standing; T. in r., (<) towards outer surface; from l. to above middle of thigh, not in knee itself, after dinner; intermittent T. outward in bend of l., as if in bone, at last it extends into thigh, and when walking tension as if tendons were too short; boring T. in l. at 8 A.M. Intermittent boring in r. Bruised pain when walking during menses. Pain as after a long walk. Weary pain when sitting, (<) walking. Painful drawing jerking from r. to middle of thigh when standing and bending leg. Drawing pain extending to soles like a burrowing in the marrow. Tension in hollows; hollow of l. at 8 A.M., when walking. Pain in bend of l. as if tendons were too short on entering house. Heaviness in afternoon when walking, with pain.

Leg. Cramp in calves in e evening in bed; in l. calf at night on turning over and rising in bed. Tearing in r. calf in afternoon. Cutting in tibia. Bruised pain in tibiae. Burning painful spots on tibia. Drawing downward pain in evening. Painful tension in tendo-achillis as far as calves when walking rapidly. Uneasiness in r. at night, he must constantly put it out of bed into a cool place.

Bruised pain from l. ankle to middle of tibia in morning on stepping on it, (>) long walking. Cramp in heels in morning in bed. Sticking downward deep in r.. heel at 9 P.M. in bed. Jerking tearing in l. heel at 10 P.M. in bed. Pain in feet during menses, even in bed. Drawing pain in soles. Weariness of feet; on ascending, with pain. Heaviness of feet from 5 till 8 P.M., (<) ascending steps, with weariness.

Toes. Stitching in bone or r. great extending to its dorsal surface at 7 P.M., burning S. in great. Tearing in r. great from first phalanx to tip; T. in l. little at 3 P.M. when walking, then in fourth toe.

Skin

      Red spots on chest. Tetter below mouth; red, smooth, elevated, on chest and calves, then desquamation. Fine eruption on mouth. Swelling of r. middle finger on the days when he had no stool, with redness, heat and itching pimples. Subcutaneous nodes in axillae and above elbows, with sticking. Pimples here and there; P. above knee; on r. side of chin, almost daily giving place to fresh ones; on l. arm, disappearing after scratching, but they do not itch; red, above knee; hard, red deep in skin in front of l shoulder, stinging on pressure, with one a red areola; hard, above r. ear, painful to touch. Itching pimples beneath ears; on inner surface of l. forearm; between l. finger; on wrist, exuding clear water on pressure.

Pustules in front of r. ear; on tip of nose; itching, beneath r. nostril, leaving a burning scab. Boil on l. side of forehead and one on r. side of throat; on l. side of chest; posteriorly on lower part of r. thigh, with redness, afterwards roughness of skin. Vesicles on side of forehead and in r. corner of mouth; on back of nose; near nail of l. index; on first joint of l. index; in the scar of an old burn; clear, on l. side of nape; clear, above r. breast and on r. shoulder; on hands, with stinging; itching, on sides of nose before menstruation; itching, on l. side of throat, waking her at night, after scratching a red spot. Scab on l. side of forehead as if a vesicle had been scratched off.

Itching stitch above r. hip, (>) scratching; itching burning S. as from fleas, now in r., now in l. hip, l. sacral and r. hypochondriac region. Crawling under first joints of r. toes, then on dorsum of foot; on various parts, (<) shoulders, with itching then after scratching clear vesicles. Itching burning above upper lip, towards l. corner of mouth, at 1 P.M. Itching biting in nape and on throat in evening, with burning after scratching.

Itching on whole body; on nose near l. eye; here and there posteriorly on trunk; in l. axilla; inner surface of l. wrist; above hips; between l. fourth and fifth toes; on r. shoulder in afternoon, then burning after scratching; on neck and shoulders in afternoon; between shoulders at 6 P.M., then burning after scratching; on l. palm from 7 P.M. till lying down; of l. hand at 10 P.M.; here and there from evening till 3 A.M.; here and there on scalp in evening, after scratching it appeared in other places; on back in evening on lying down, then burning after scratching; on shoulders, outer side of thigh and on throat in evening before sleep and in morning on dressing, and after scratching itching pimples in several places; in evening when undressing, on nates and inside of forearm, and after scratching itching pimples, the l. (<) scratching, but (>) in bed; here and there at night till 5 A.M., always appearing in a new spot after scratching; on forehead during dinner; on chin after dinner; on l. toes after dinner; on r. hip when standing, then after scratching burning on inside of l. forearm when washing with cold water and soap, and after scratching red itching pimples, which soon disappeared after drying. l. not (>) scratching, on r. temple; on nates.

Itching (>) scratching, in various places, (<) forehead, nose, throat and forearms; sides of forehead; beneath r. ear; behind r. ear; in l. palm in morning after rising; in places on face at 10 A.M.; on back at noon and in evening; from first joint of r. thumb up radius at 1.15 P.M.; on r. calf at 4 P.M.; on nape at 6 P.M.; l. in middle of back after dinner, on scratching it appears on l. shoulders, where it is (>) scratching; on back, but returning; on shoulders, but returning; in r. groin, with internal burning, and with chilliness of body, the B. also (>) scratching; anteriorly below r. elbow, then a red spot. Itching on r. side of neck, then burning after scratching; l. on l. palm, then after long scratching clear vesicles; l. between r. third and fourth fingers, then after scratching clear vesicles and on the scratched spots long white streaks. Voluptuous l. externally about throat, (>) scratching., but returning. Biting l. at night on whole body. Burning l. above nates.

Sleep

      Yawning; after rising till 9 A.M.; in forenoon, with sneezing; in forenoon, with sleepiness, indolence and stretching; in afternoon, without sleepiness, at 1.15 P.M., with sleepiness and indolence; after 6 P.M.; after dinner, with sleepiness, indolence and stretching; violent and frequent. Sleepiness; in morning after a good night’s sleep; on second day of menses, with weakness.

Sleepless all night; for several nights, and constant tossing about; till midnight; from midnight till 2. A.M., then imperfect sleep till 5 A.M.; from 1 till 5 A.M.; after 2 or 3 A.M.; on account of anxiety and heaviness. Late falling asleep; on account of uneasiness in blood, then restless sleep. Frequent waking during menses. Restless sleep, with frequent waking. Tossing about at night, or if his body lay quiet his arms and legs jerked all night, even when awake, on waking he knew nothing of the occurrences of the night. Starting up from sleep in afternoon; S. up to about midnight, then sleepless for an hour; S. upon falling asleep, with uneasiness in limbs. Talking in S. after midnight; loud T. in morning, and she beat her head against the wall and woke, but knew nothing of it. Little and unrefreshing sleep, with restlessness; little S. and many dreams.

Dreams. The symptomatology of dreams is very full, anxious, fatiguing, frightening, vivid and obscure.

Fever

      Chilliness from morning till evening; at 7 P.M. in bed, (>) 9 P.M.; in evening on undressing,(>) in bed; in evening in bed, as if dashed with cold water; at 9.30 P.M., in bed; all night after a long walk, and even in morning; during menses; during menses, always on waking or uncovering herself Shaking chill at 9 P.M.; in evening and in bed; at 10 P.M. in bed; at 8 P.M., beginning in feet, (>) in bed, without external coldness, next morning sweat. Shivering down back every day at 9 P.M., with nausea. Chill down back from 4 P.M. till sleep. Cold feet as if wading in cold water.
