Sleep and Dreams.

Sleepiness. Constant inclination to yawn (fourth day). Frequent yawning (first day),; (third day). Sleepiness from noon till 3 P. M. (third day). Drowsy all day (second day ). Heavy and drowsy, unable to keep her attention on her work; at 3 P. M. could apply herself without difficulty (fifteenth day). Great drowsiness, with horripilation in the legs, as before an attack of fever; very transient (first day). Comatose drowsiness, with inability to sleep (first day). Sleeps all the time (third day). Deep sleep (sixth day). Heavy sleep, with great numbness on waking; feeling as if bruised all over (first day). Sleeplessness. Sleeplessness at night; general lassitude, as on the third night (sixth day). No sleep at night; general restlessness followed by pricking all over, all night (second day); same restlessness as on the day before, followed by similar sleepiness (third day). Very restless all night, without apparent cause; no sleep (fifth day). No sleep until midnight (third day). Slept well until midnight; no sleep after that until day-light; pains in the body when she stirred (first day). Very bad night; great nervous restless (second day). Short sleep (fourth day). Dreams. Sad dreams, with great fear on waking; the sadness and fear continue for a quarter of an hour (eighth day). Dreams at night about the dead (third day). At night, dreams of talking with dead people; great restlessness (second day).

Fever

Chilliness. General chilliness, as in the beginning of a fever (seventh day). Coldness, as when in convulsions (second day). When the air strikes her, it cause rigors and cold sweat (third day). Rigor, with paleness and circles around the eyes; this febrile attack abates by covering herself, and getting into a profuse perspiration; it is succeeded by malaise (seventh day). Heat. Heat after the coldness, especially in the loins (seventh day). General heat, with dull pain; left side most painful (first day). Great internal heat and restlessness after lying down; she has to get up again (first day). Heat in the head, without sweat, at 6 o’clock (fourth day). Heat in the head, with cold sweat and a little fever, at 2 o’clock (fourth day). Heat in the left side of the face, at 11 A.M. (second day). Great heat in the back, of short duration, followed by rigors (first and fourth days). Very hot face, in the evening (second day).

Conditions.

Aggravation (Evening), Vertigo, etc.; pricking in eyes. (Night), While lying, suffocative fit. (After dinner), When holding the head down, nausea. (Pressure), Pain in side. (Stooping), Itching in ear; palpitation of heart.

Amelioration

(Night), Headache. (Lying down), Palpitation of heart. (Pressure), Pain in hip. (Sitting), colic. (Standing erect), Lancinations in scapula. ( Walking), pains in knee.
