Abdomen

Hypochondria. Pressive pain in the hepatic region, and a gnawing beneath the left short ribs, as if a worm were gnawing,. When she rises in the morning and immediately sits down, she is attacked by a pressive pain in the region, of the spleen, which is associated with other symptoms and makes her quite weak; but if she walks around and does not sit down the pain does not occur. The pain is also caused by even slight external pressure. (* Compare 2, 249, 261, 270, 311, 822, 412, 544 *) A constant sticking pain in the right side beneath the false ribs, in the hepatic region, not affected by inspiration, lasting six hours (after thirty six hours). Pain in the upper anterior lobe of the liver, as if bruised, which caused a feeling of fullness, so that she was constantly obliged to loosen her clothes in that place. Umbilical and sides. A quiet pain about the umbilicus that she was often subject to after eating acid things. A quiet pain above and about the umbilicus, which cannot be easily described, or a feeling as though she had drunk some acid (carbonated) water, with ill humor lasting thirty six hours (after twenty four hours). A pain as from a cold in the umbilical region, as if diarrhoea would occur. Clawing about the umbilicus with a pain as from ulceration in the whole abdomen, lasting five days. A clawing and griping pain about the umbilicus, relieved by stooping the day before menstruation, as the pain ceased, some white mucus was discharged from the vagina, that colored the linen white. Woke between 2 and 3 a. m. on account of a contractive sensation in the abdomen; a feeling as though a lump were lying in the umbilical region and had twisted itself tightly together. A grasping and griping pain about the umbilicus, that extends up into the throat and causes nausea, with efforts to vomit (after thirty six hours). A painful lump is felt in the umbilical region, as if it were tightly twisted, together. A Zigzag sticking about the umbilicus (lightning like stitches shoot now downward, now upward, now backward, now forward). followed by a sudden stitch shooting towards the left mamma. Where it ends, lasting half an hour. (after three days), Colic about the umbilicus as if diarrhoea would occur; she was obliged to crouch quite together it omits, for awhile and then recurs at different periods, A frequently recurring pain in the right flank, extending upwards and downwards and into the right testicles (after one hour). Periodic sticking in the left flank, above the crest of the ilium, which shoots down into the left leg (after three days). Some violent stitches on the right side of the abdomen, between the umbilicus and crest of the ilium, which took away her breathe, so that she was obliged to cry aloud; during rest (after four hours). General Abdomen. Distension of the abdomen (after three days). Distension of the abdomen, as if she had eaten very much. Distension of the abdomen after menstruation. The abdomen is distended and tense, without pain (after twenty four hours). Great distension of the abdomen, before menstruations. After the pains in the arms and legs had lasted sixty hours they all at once ceased, but immediately the abdomen became greatly distended, as if menstruation, would come on, with weakness, though she was in a lively mood; in the evening she went to bed with this distension of the abdomen, slept well, and was quite well in the morning (after three days). The whole abdomen was very much distended and tense,. The whole abdomen is very much distended but soft, with shortness of breath the whole day (a few hours). Increased peristaltic action and emission of flatus. Flatus smelling like bad eggs, during menstruation. On the third day, During the menses, at 5 a. m. a thumping and clawing in the abdomen, like dull shoots, followed by very urgent desire for stool, with painless diarrhoea, and during the day seven diarrhoea-like stools without pain (seemingly the secondary action). (after ten days),. Tension of the abdomen, with scanty discharge of urine. Griping and discharge of flatulence, with relief,. Three to four days, after menstruation violent cramp in the abdomen, especially in the hypogastric region. Drawing pain in the abdomen, during menstruation. Painless drawing in upper abdomen, which extends to small of back, and there causes labor-like pains, with pressure downward towards the lumbar vertebrae, as in child-birth; therewith the face becomes hot (flushes of heat), Palpitation, frequent pulse, and frequent ineffectual urging to urinate, which at last takes place after much pressure, is hot and scanty after such an attack she becomes chilly, cannot get warm, without thirst, these attacks occur every quarter or half an hour, and continue twenty four hours they are also associated with the eye symptoms 93. 111, in such a way that the eye symptoms cease when the labor-like pains set in; when the pressure ceases, a milky discharge drops from the vagina without pain. Pressure in the lower abdomen, Pains in the abdomen; pain like a boil low down in the abdomen, with electric-like stitches in the internal genitals, which cause constrictive spasmodic pains in the pudenda externally, so that the she gathers herself together every time when the pains come, with a periodic pressure starting from the small of the back and extending forward, with frequent urging to urinate, with only scanty and clear urine, ineffectual urging to stool and anxious restlessness through the whole body, so that she broke out into an anxious sweat, with ill humor so that she quarreled with every one and would strike them when these attacks occurred while sitting she was obliged to rise and walk about whereby the pains were relieved, lasting four days (after twenty four hours),. Dull pains in the left iliac region, lasting half an hour and returning after four hours (after six hours). Tensive pains in both inguinal regions, while walking. If she presses during the stool, the spasmodic pain extends from the lumbar vertebrae into the right inguinal region, and into the hip-joint of the same side, making walking difficult (after twenty four hours). Stitches in the region of the crest of the ilium, which shoot transversely through the abdomen. The crest of the ilia are painful to pressure, as if she had carried something heavy or hard upon them.

Rectum

Large painful hemorrhoids (after four days). Cramp like pains in the rectum, which extended upward into the flank, so that she was obliged to walk quite bent over, and to sit down very cautiously (after forty two hours). Pressure on the rectum necessitating a stool, but emission of only flatus. Several successive stitches in the rectum during menstruation, which shoot upwards to the left flank and there remain for a while, so that she is obliged to stand up. Drawing, tearing, and sticking in the rectum, with frequent pressure to stool, without being about to accomplish anything; but a hard stool followed after thirty six hours, with much pressure, after which all pains ceased (after twenty four hours). An uneasiness, a crawling or dragging in the rectum, which returns several times a day and only disappears after a stool.

Stool

Diarrhoea. Stool more frequent and more easy than usual, so that I generally had one or two copious, soft often pasty evacuations (was usually constipated, with a movement every two to four days). Two or three stools a day, not diarrhoea- like. Two normal stools in the morning, without pain. She has two quite natural stools a day, contrary to habit (in a constipated person). Constipation. Constipation, for five days. During menses stool and flatulence accumulate in the rectum for a longer time than usual (feels there a pressure with emission of flatus); after which the menstrual blood always flows very profusely, and is frequently in clots,. Stool hard, dry, nodular, with much pressure and only every three or four days.

Urinary Organs.

Micturition. Excessive urging to urinate, she cannot get out of bed quick enough; with constrictive pain in the vagina (after twelve hours). Frequent emission of hot urine. She was frequently obliged to urinate but passed very little clear urine each time. She urinates six or seven times a day; always with great haste and always passing a great deal was obliged to urinate every hour, and each time passed much clear urine (she usually urinated but twice daily). She was obliged to urinate every half hour from 4 a. m. till noon; each time she passed over half a pint (after 5 days). Micturition at night she was obliged to rise frequently on account of it. Urging to urinate towards evening, she, she was also frequently obliged to rise at night to urinate. Pressure on the bladder at night, that she always had shortly before childbirth, which causes a sensation through the whole body as if in labor; she was obliged to rise three times at night to urinate, and each time she passed much hot clear urine (after three days). Obliged to rise every hour at night to urinate and always passed much clear urine, without having drunk anything (after twelve to eighteen hours),. Frequent micturition, but only a spoonful passed each time,. Although she drank more than usual, she passed scarcely half the usual amount of urine she was obliged to rise frequently at night to urinate but passed only a little The urine spurts from her during each cough. The urine passed in a weak stream Strangury, Strangury (in a woman who had taken a drop by accident). (kuster). Very scanty discharge of urine, neither bladder nor bowels evacuated for 24 hours.; Nux 3d seemed to relieve all morbid symptoms except those of the throat (after 24 hours).
