CORYZA.

DRY CORYZA–

Dry coryza, nose stopped, nostrils ulcerated.

Great dryness of mucous membrane of nose and throat.

FLUENT CORYZA– Violent fluent coryza of odorless mucus looking like melted tallow.

Profuse secretion of mucus dropping from posterior nares.

Inspired air feels cold.

DISCHARGES–

None at first.

Profuse, fluent mucus, also dropping down the throat.

Odorless mucus, looking like melted tallow.

COUGH.

DRY COUGH– Nervous, occasional and very spasmodic coughs.

Convulsive, violent paroxysms of spasmodic cough; intermittent in recurrence.

Intermittent cough in severe paroxysms of 15 m. to 1 hour.

Short, barking coughing regularly about once a minute; very spasmodic.

LOOSE COUGH–

Very spasmodic scanty or loose difficult cough.

Children lose their breath, and get black in the face.

SPUTA

Seems cold.

WORSE–

Lying down; must sit up.

Change of air provokes cough; throat and chest very sensitive to change.

SENSATIONS–

Feeling as if very cold air were streaming through the air passages, when breathing deeply.

Subjective odors of disagreeable sorts; smoke, onions, etc.

Great sensitiveness of the air passages.

Very spasmodic cough (Badiaga, Conium, Agaric.).
