A hot infusion of Capsicum tincture, or of the red peppers, is another remedy for persistent hiccough.
Nux vomica [Nux-v]
This drug, 1st, 3d or 30th potency, is especially indicated in the hiccough of alcoholism, or for transient cases.
Hands It is said that one way to stop hiccough is to place the flat of the hand upon the pit of the stomach, just below the breast-bone, with a firm pressure.
