Characteristics Symptoms

      Gonorrhoea, when urethra is felt as a hard string. Orificium urethra blue-red with swelling of the mucous membrane. Chancroid, when Mercurius sol. or Mercurius subl. gives no amelioration. Ulcus elevatum. Phagedenic ulcer and bubo. Ulcus induratum, deep with red, hard edges, and especially when the ulcus is spreading. Iritis syphilitica after the pains have ceased. Pemphigus neonatorum and intertrigo syphilitica (Author). Mucous patches on scrotum and by anus with or without fissures (Author). Also externally as unguentum (1 part Mercurius praec. rub.-50, 40 or 30 parts Axungia porci lota). Blepharitis ciliaris, acute and chronic. One of the best remedies in eczema, acute or chronic, with much seropurulent or purulent exudation, also externally (Author). Also dry eruptions, especially tinea tonsurans, circinata and sycosis. Best remedy internally and externally in folliculitis barbae (Author).
