Bromine follows well after Spongia, when the croup aggravation sets in the next evening, is best suited to light haired, light complexioned children; gasps for breath, wants to be carried but very quickly, saying run, run; long – drawn – out inhalation, and great prostration. It is especially useful where the trouble seems to start low down in diphtheria.
