A tincture is made of Cinnamon bark (Laurus Cinnamonum, L).
Excitement of vascular system and respiratory organs. She imagines that the l. side of the brain is shrunken; l. side of head seems smaller; she thinks that the l. side of the face is smaller; l. eye seems smaller; l. leg feels shorter, (<) when walking. Numbness all over; l. side. Amelioration of symptoms after breakfast. Crossness. Headache. Head stupefied. Eyes sunken. Sunken, sickly look to face. Nosebleed in frequent attacks. Blisters all over mouth. Tongue dry after eating, without thirst. Soreness of mouth and tongue, preventing eating. Rawness and soreness of mouth and tongue returned after rinsing mouth with cold water. Loss of appetite in evening.
Feeling as if everything in abdomen were suppurating. Abdomen sore to touch. Tension in abdomen in morning, in both ovarian regions, as if a thread were drawn in that direction. Bright red and clear haemorrhage from bowels, (<) after physical exertion. Diarrhoea. Urine increased. Bearing down in genitals. Scanty yellow discharge from vagina. Menstruation early, profuse and prolonged, so that soon she was but comparatively few days in the month five from the haemorrhage, at times the flow would be unattended by other symptoms, again she would be quite hysterical. Backache. Fingers seem swollen. Sleepiness, no desire for anything; drowsiness in morning, with heaviness.
Clinical Uterine haemorrhages; post-partum haemorrhagias; haemorrhages from the bowels, menorrhagia, menses early and profuse, bright red; haemoptysis (compare Millefol., Erig., Sabin., etc.).
