It consists of numerous small ulcers about the laps, nose, and sometimes extends over the greater part of the head. The best remedies are Nitric acid and Sulphur, the Nitric acid internally and externally; externally in the form of a wash, consisting of 30 drops of the strong acid to an ounce of water, to be applied to the part with a small brush, once a day, at the same time give 4 drops of the third dilution; it is generally necessary to finish with some doses of Sulphur.
