Male. Coldness of the glans penis and prepuce, Itching of the glans penis (fourth day). Sexual excitement increased (fourteenth day). Sexual desire somewhat increased (fifth day). Sexual desire greatly depressed (third day). Female. Menstruation eight days too early (sixth day).

Respiratory organs

Larynx and Trachea. Sticking in the larynx, in the evening (third day). Sticking and tickling in the larynx, with irritation to cough (first day). Fine sticking in the larynx, lasting a long time (first day). Stitches in he larynx and short paroxysms of cough, a few times (fifth day). Violent stitches in the larynx causing lachrymation and accumulation of saliva (sixth day). Clawing pain in the trachea, which gradually extended lower down until it seemed to involve the smallest bronchi, provoking cough which loosened small masses of tenacious mucus; these symptoms gradually disappeared (after half an hour). Cough and expectoration. Cough in the morning after rising, soon disappearing. Cough wakes her frequently at night; she also coughs frequently during the day (sixth day). Cough amounting to suffocation, in the evening before, and two hours after, lying down (second day). Violent cough, which provoked vomiting, before, and half an hour after, lying down (third day) evening). Profuse expectoration of mucus from the bronchial tubes and trachea. Respiration. Oppressed respiration, while sitting (fourth day). Respiration impeded, like a cramp in the chest, in the open air (after ten minutes, first day). Difficult respiration, with oppression of the chest as from a weigh, worse while sitting, lasting several hours (twenty-second day). Respiration short and difficult, with oppression of the chest and anxious sensation in the heart and short beats of the hear, worse during rest, better when walking (lasting several hours), twenty- third and subsequent days).

Chest

Rumbling and gurgling in the chest on every inspiration, lasting a long time. Pain in the walls of the chest, in various places (thirteenth day). Pain in the short ribs of the right side (after two hours). Pain almost like a burning in one of the lower ribs of the right side, frequently occurring (first day). Twenty- fourth frequently occurring (first day). Tightness in the chest (twenty-fourth day). Tightness of the chest, with difficult respiration (seventeenth) day. Pressure on the middle of the chest, without affecting respiration (after one hour and a half). Pressure upon the chest and oppression behind the sternum (fifth day). Pressure upon the chest, with difficult respiration (seventh day); while sitting (first day). Oppression of the chest, Oppression of the chest, he breath is inspired with difficulty, while sitting (third day). Oppression of the chest with palpitation, while sitting (fourteenth day). Constant feeling of oppression in the chest as from a weight, with difficult respiration, and with the assistance of the abdominal muscles, while sitting (nineteenth day). Cutting pain in the middle of the lower false ribs of the right side, in the forenoon (first day). Sticking in the walls of the thorax (eleventh day).- Stitch in the right false ribs, extending to the small of the back (after two hours). (360). Stitches extending around the left wall of the thorax (second day). Sharp stitches in the lower false ribs, very painful.-Fine stitches through the left lung, more towards, the anterior wall of the thorax (fourth day).- Constrictive stitches in the chest.-Violent palpitation, like a twitching, in the region of the right fourth and fifth ribs, at 3 P. M. (second day). Front. Pain in the sternum and on the sides of it (sixth day). Gurgling-like pressure in the upper part of the sternum (after two hours). Pain in the sternum as if bruised, on entering a warm room. Pain almost like a sticking in the ensiform cartilage. Pain like a cutting above the ensiform cartilage (first day). Sticking in the sternum, in the afternoon, while sitting (second day). Sticking in the sternum, (first day). Violent sharp stitch in the middle of the sternum, extending through the chest, while sitting (after two hours and a half). Three sudden frightening stitches in the sternum, above the pit of the stomach, in the forenoon (first day). Sides. Pain in the right wall of the thorax, after supper (fourth day). Drawing pressure in the side of the chest, just beneath the axillae, extending through into the right scapula, in the afternoon while sitting. Sticking in the right side of the chest near the sternum (after one hour).-Fine stitches in the left wall of the thorax (third day).-Tearing in the left wall of the chest (twenty-fourth day).-Throbbing in the right side of the chest (fourth day). Mammae. A long-continued burning behind the left breast while sitting (third day).-Boring into the right female breast while sitting. Painful sticking in the left female breast; on rubbing it extended farther backward; afterward it appeared again in the first place, while sitting in the afternoon. Extremely painful stitch beneath the left female breast, extending inward, in the afternoon while sitting. A long stitch just beneath the right nipple (after three hours).-A sudden burning stitch near the left female breast, near the sternum, extending inward, in the afternoon while sitting.

Heart and Pulse

Precordium. Tensive pain in the region of the heart (third day).- Oppression at the heart, while sitting (fourth day).- Heart’s Action. Some violent beats of the heart at its tip (seventh day), Several strong beats of the heart (sixth day). Violent beating of the heart (eleventh day). Violent beating of the heart perceptible in the head, at 7 A.M. (seventeenth day). Violent irregular beating of the heart, while sitting, Palpitation (two hours after 3 grains). Palpitation with oppression of the chest (eighteenth day). Palpitation and rush of blood to the head with heat, while walking rapidly, even lasting some time in the house, in the evening (fourth day). Pulse. Pulse rapid (second day). Pulse more rapid than usual, with violent beating of the heart perceptible in the head and arm, together with short and impeded respiration, while sitting (frequently repeated during the day, (seventeenth day).-Pulse spasmodic,; (after half an hour). Hard pulse (two hours after 3 grains).

Neck and Back

Feeling of stiffness in the cervical muscles, during rest (fourth day).-Drawing in the left side of the neck (eighth day).- Violent drawing on the left side of the neck, while walking, especially under the skin (seventh day). Violent pressure in the muscles between the neck and left shoulder, several times (sixth day). Tearing beneath the skin on both sides of the neck, in the evening (fourteenth day). Tearing in the left side of the neck (twelfth day). Tearing extending up and down in the left cervical muscles (third day). Back. Drawing extending from the small of the back into the shoulders (after three hours). Sticking in various muscles of the back (seventeenth day). Bruised pain in the muscles of the back (twenty-third day). Dorsal. Pains in the left scapula (fourth day). Pressure between the scapulae. Dull pressure in the spinal processes of some of the dorsal vertebrae, lasting a long time (fifth day). Constant fine sticking in the right scapula (after one hour). Drawing sticking pains following the course of the left musculus rhomboideus. A stitch between the scapulae, after dinner. Stitches in the scapulae (nineteenth day). Stitches in the muscles between the scapulae (first day). Lumbar. Sticking in the small of the back, preceding a hard stool; the pain disappears after the stool (first day). Dull stitches in the right lumbar region, intermitting. Nephritic colic, with greenish urine.

Extremities

Objective. Subsultus tendinum in all the limbs (third day). Weariness of the limbs (fifth day). Weakness of the hands and feet, as if sprained (third day). Subjective. Feeling of weakness in the limbs (fourth day).-Drawing in several joints (tenth day). Pressure in the right elbow (fifteenth day).-Pressure in right lower leg and right forearm (sixth day).-Pressure in left calf and forearm.-Pressure in left calf, upon right tibia, and right radius, coming and going several times (fourth day). Tearing in right shoulder joint, afterwards in right ankle (fourteenth day).-Tearing in the joints of the hands and feet, a few times during the day (third day).-Tearing in the right great toe and in the first and middle joints of the left ring and middle fingers, while sitting in the afternoon.-Bruised pain, suddenly changing its location, in the joints and soft parts near the joints (nineteenth day).-The pains in the limbs seem to be aggravated after every meal (sixth day).

Superior Extremities

Weakness of the arms, in the forenoon.-Drawing in the muscles of the arms (eighteenth day).-Drawing, extending down the left arm, starting from the lower portion of the neck (fifth day). Drawing, extending from the right shoulder-joint through the whole arm as far as below the joint of the thumb, where it ended in the bone with a jerking, while sitting; disappearing on moving about (after three hours.-Frequent bruised pain in the arms (sixteenth day). Shoulder. Pressive pain in the right deltoid muscle (twenty-second day). Sticking beneath the right axillae.- Sticking pain through the left shoulder from before backwards, while sitting in the afternoon.-Violent sticking in the right shoulder-joint, at 4 P. M.-Tearing in the left shoulder-joint, at 4 P. M. while sitting. Upper Arm. Pain beneath the left humerus (after two hours). Drawing in the right upper arm (seventeenth day). Painful jerking drawing, extending from the right shoulder along the outer surface of the humerus to the vicinity of the elbow and back again, thence into the right scapula, where it disappeared, while sitting. Sticking on the outer surface of the right upper arm from without inward (after two hours). Frequent stitches in the upper arm (seventh day). Tearing in the right upper arm (twelfth day). Tearing in the left upper arm fourteenth day). Tearing in the muscles of the right upper arm (eighth day). Tearing in the middle of the right upper arm, in the bone, at first aggravated by pressing upon it, but relieved by long-continued pressure, while sitting (first day). Tearing and pressure in the muscles of the upper arm, frequently followed by a sensation of loss of power in the forearm, which is afterwards felt in the pectoral muscles (twenty-second day). Painful tearing above the elbow, extending into the shoulder- joint while sitting in the afternoon. Bruised sensation in the left upper arm (twenty-third day). Bruised pain in the left upper arm (sixth and seventeenth days). Bruised pain in the right upper arm, afterwards on the inner margin of the left scapula (fifteenth day). Elbow. Sticking in the elbow-joint, extending into the shoulder while sitting in the afternoon. Fine stitching just above the bend of the right elbow, at pulse like intervals (after two days).-Two burning stitches in the right inner condyle of the elbow.-Fine tearing in the anterior surface of the right elbow, as if in the periosteum, disappearing after pressing upon it. Gnawing pain in the elbow-joint, extending along the ulna to near the writ, relieved by moving and flexing the arm (after two hours).-Violent pulsation in the left elbow-joint (fourth day).- Forearm. Rheumatic pains in the forearm.-Drawing in the right radius (fifth day).-Drawing in the muscles of the left forearm, afterwards in the right (eleventh day).-Drawing pain in the left forearm at the place where one feels the pulse (after half an hour).-Violent gnawing-tearing pain, extending from the elbow- joint down the posterior side of the arm as far as the first joint of the right little finger; after moving the arm the pain again extended into the elbow, thence into the shoulder joint; after violent motion it again returned in the same finger-joint, where it at last disappeared, while sitting in the forenoon. Wrist. Sticking in the right wrist on moving it, lasting five minutes (second day). Hand. The veins of the hands swell, become red, and tense, as if swollen, in the forenoon (second day). Transient sticking on the back of the right hand in the first finger-joints (second day). Tearing in the back of the left hand (after half an hour). Tearing in the metacarpal bone of the left thumb (seventeenth day). Fingers. Pain in the left index finger after two hours. Drawing in the left thumb and in the lumbar muscles; disappearing on moving about (third day). Drawing in the left fingers, in the upper arm, and in the right side of the forehead (eighth day). Pressure in the joints of the right thumb. Fine stitches on the dorsal surface of the second joint of the left index finger, worse on moving the joint (seventh day). Painful tearing in the first phalanx of the right thumb, and a painful drawing from the left shoulder into the left side of the head (after two hours and a half). Jerking tearing in the right little finger, especially in the last and middle joints, while sitting in the afternoon.
