Skin
General. After a cold foot-bath becomes red, with prickling like nettles. After a cold river-bath, red as a lobster over the whole body, with biting and prickling, as of nettles (fourteenth day). Skin dark-brown, yellow, with grown people; in a child of ten days. Eruptions. Dry. Pimples on the forehead (eighth day). Pimples on the ear. Pimples on the scrotum, sore to the touch (fourth day). Pimples in the region of joints. Pimples inside of forearm. Pimples on back of hand, on wrist. An itching pimples on the back of the left hand; the itching ceases after scratching, evenings (third day). A pimple on the right ankle, sore to the touch (twelfth day). Tetters on lower legs, peeling off, scaling. Pustular. Scrofulous ulcers; lax and lazy. A suppurating pimple behind the left ear, sore to the touch (twentieth day). Suppurating pimple on the nape of the neck, sensitively painful to the touch (tenth day). On the back of the left metacarpal joint a suppurating pimple, sore to the touch (eighth day). Furuncle between the right eyebrow and upper lid; eye inflamed; lids falling or closed, most in the morning. Small furuncle near anus to the right, with much pain; cannot sit; has to stand or lie on left side; discharges blood or pus, and remains a painless fistula (two provers). Large ulcers above or around the ears and in the region of parotid glands. Sensations. Itching and burning as from nettles. Itching and burning over the whole skin (from the 4th). Itching, biting; most on places years before affected. Sticking-drawing of the skin on the right side of the thorax, especially when raising the arms (tenth day). Very unpleasant formication over the whole abdomen, for an hour and a half (five hours after taking 8 drops of the 4th). Itching on point of nose. Itching between the third and little finger of the left hand (seventh day). On the buttock stinging on little spots; itching, burning, sore spots, oozing scurfs. Burning-itching of outer ear in a warm room.
Sleep and Dreams
Sleepiness. Gaping, with irresistible drowsiness all forenoon. Cannot get awoke in the early morning (J. C. Morgan). Gaping, with tears in eyes. Sleepiness all forenoon, before and at dinner. Great sleepiness; he can hardly pull open his eyes, during morning service (after three hours). Before dinner, very sleepy, with yawning (fifth day). Drowsy all day (Jones). Sleepy before dinner; falls asleep while eating; and after dinner, while sitting, falls in a deep sleep. All evening asleep. Sound sleep in the evening; early waking from sleep (crude). Sleeplessness. No sleep till 2 or 3 o’clock (from the 2d). Cannot go to sleep, must turn and toss; his body itches; frequently lies on his stomach, and does not go to sleep till after 2 in the morning (fifteenth day). Wakeful a long time, evenings. Mornings awoke earlier than usual (eighth day). Early waking, feeling well. Early, waking, mornings, with erections, without desire, after which he fell into a sleep, in which he heard everything that passed about him, without being able to rouse himself. He dreamed of journeys beset with obstacles. Starting in sleep. In sleep, starting as from fright. Very restless sleep; tosses about a great deal (nineteenth day). Sleep disturbed, most before midnight. Dreams. Many dreams, quite unusual, with thoughts about many events (crude). Dreams very vivid, most from late events or last readings. Vivid dreams every night, that seem like actual events. Mostly of journeys in regions where he has been (eleventh day). Dreams of occurrences of the day before (sixth day). Dreams of objects about which he had read the evening before (eighth day). Dreams at night of meeting old friends, and of journeys (seventh day). Dreams of travelling (Schreter, Behlert, Cate). Sleep, with many dreams of danger, though without fear (from the 2d). Dreams of fire, though without many flames (from the 2d).
Fever
Chilliness. Shivering, with a hot face, with bellyache. Frequent creeping shiverings, with motion of the scrotum not like that after urinating (crude). Ears cold; point of nose cold. Frequent crawls all over; crawls on the head. Chill in the morning after dressing, with cough and coryza. Chill, with uterine pains. Outdoors, a shaking chill. When going in the cold she feels chilly. Especially chilly when going into the cold air (from the 2d). Cool feeling towards eyes; behind eyes. Cold in lower part; face hot. Heat. Gets hot, with other complaints. The warm room is oppressive (from the 2d). Heat runs from the head down to the toes. Dry heat in the evening; hot breath, beating of heart; mouth and tongue dry, without thirst; gaping, stretching, etc. Heat in face, in the evening. Heat in face, with the chill, or with other complaints. Sweat. Copious night-sweats; on single parts, towards and in the morning. Sweat on parts, wakens in the might. Cold sweat on the face; body cold. Dry skin, moist on hands. Palms of hands sweating.
Conditions Aggravation
