Sleep

Temperature and Weather

Chill Fever Sweat

      Chilliness, with coldness; shaking chill in cold air: chills run over the back.

Attacks

Sensations

Tissues

      Acute rheumatism, going from joint to joint; violent fever; pains intense; ankles most painful and swollen; worse from the least movement.

Skin

      Pricking sensation in the skin. with moderate sweat.

Dry skin.

Erysipelatous; inflamed eruption on hand (similar to the eruption caused by Rhus tox.) with oppressed breathing.

Eruption like itch.

Red, inflamed places here and there, exceedingly painful as if furuncles would from.

Relationship

      Kalmia follows Spigel, well i heart diseases.

Antidote: Bellad. helped throbbing head; erysipelas.

With symptoms indicating Diosc, in gastralgia it had a marked beneficial action.

C. Hering
Hering got the degree of M. D. from the University of Wuezburg with highest honours. The theme of his thesis was "De'Medicina Futura" (The medicine of future). Hering left Germany for West Indies and finally arrived at Philadelphia in Jan, 1833. He established a homeopathic school at Allentown, Pennsylvania, commonly known as "Allentown Academy". Soon he became very popular as a physician. He is known as the 'Father of Homeopathy' in America.
