URTICA URENS (tincture of stinging-nettles.)

Two drops to the oz. of water. Saturate gauze or lint, and apply to burn. Cover with cotton-wool, or oil-silk. Moisten again and again without removing the gauze, if stuck. Quickly relieves pain, and heals.

(N.B.-Boiling water poured on stinging nettles will do as well as the tincture. Soak the lint in this.)

CANTHARIS.

Or, a dose or two of Cantharis will stop the pain.
