POISON MUSHROOM.

CORYZA.

Frequent sneezing morning in bed, dry coryza.

FLUENT CORYZA –

Frequent dropping of clear water from nose.

Thin, watery.

Bad odor from nose : water runs from eyes.

Copious, offensive, chronic, – in old people.

Copious thick tenacious mucus,- sub-acute coryza.

Smell of vinegar is intolerable.

Nosebleed of old people, blood-vessels of nose relaxed; passive hemorrhage.

THROAT –

Dryness and constriction of pharynx as from an astringent.

COUGH.

Sudden, convulsive dry cough.

Dry cough shaking whole body, caused from tickling in trachea. Spasmodic dry cough, followed by equally spasmodic sneezing, Constant irritation to cough which can be partially controlled, but when it comes it doubles him up with its violence, and is painful.

SPUTA –

None,- cough dry, spasmodic.

Hacks up small round hard balls of mucus without effort. (Chronic.)

Pus-like sputa, with long-tasting cough.

Rattling of phlegm which does not come up; old people; chronic.

WORSE –

During the day, especially in the forenoon; or

Only at night, easier by day.

Trying to sing, brings on tickling in the throat : chronic singers’ sore throat.

BETTER –

Trying to control; it is less frequent.

CHEST –

Constriction of chest, with visible beating of heart.

Shooting pains in different parts of chest and abdomen on deep breathing: seems to run through the chest from front to back.

WORSE –

Worse deep breathing.

Oppression in region of diaphragm.

Involuntary deep sighing; heart rapid.

SENSATIONS –

Bad odor before the nose.

Constriction of throat; dry, as astringent.

Constriction of chest; oppression of chest.

Involuntary sighing.
