CORYZA.
DRY CORYZA –
Dryness of posterior nares and throat, – with sneezing (first stage.)
FLUENT CORYZA –
Thin watery discharge.
Burning and rawness in nose and throat.
Dull frontal headache.
Sensitive to inhaled air : (second stage.)
DISCHARGES –
None, mucous membranes, dry; sneezing.
Fluent, watery with hawking of ropy, sweetish mucus.
SENSATIONS –
Cold air is painful.
Burning, stinging, prickling, rawness; formication, in nose and throat (Ac.).
Throat burns, feels dry and stiff when swallowing.
Stinging and burning in soft palate.
Dryness and rawness from taking cold. (Very like aconite, except restlessness and erethism of latter.)
Soreness and rawness high up in throat, about the soft palate.
THROAT –
Dark-red, congested; tonsils swollen.
Burning with frequent desire to swallow.
Fiery-red; constricted on swallowing.
Feels swollen; hawks up sweetish ropy mucus.
Chronic pharyngitis with non-bleeding hemorrhoids.
PHARYNX –
Feels stiff, dry raw, worse swallowing.
COUGH.
Dull frontal headache.
Dry hacking cough; hepatic cough.
From irritation and irritation of fauces.
Chronic hacking cough; non-bleeding piles.
CHEST –
Tightness and constriction of chest, with
Burning and constriction of lungs.
Soreness over lungs, on deep breathing.
In lower part of chest, burning and constriction.
Lungs feel enlarged and congested.
SENSATIONS –
As if sore lung (right) moved Up and down with breathing.
Dull frontal headache.
CONCOMITANT –
Non-bleeding piles.
Rectum feels as if filled with dry sticks.
Stools dry, hard, difficult.
