COUGH.

SCANTY COUGH –

Violent cough from least exertion, with painful stitches in trachea; sputa scanty.

Expectoration relieves oppression of chest.

WORSE –

At night.

After drinking.

From talking.

From pressure, pain in chest.

BETTER –

From raising mucus.

SENSATIONS –

Oppression of chest, relieved by raising scanty sputa.

Constriction of chest; severe pain under sternum, worse from pressure.

Palpitation and throbbing in chest.

Stiffness of back.

Frequent hawking, with nausea.
