CORYZA.
DIFFICULT CORYZA –
Severe coryza, sneezing, nose stopped; thick, yellow mucus from posterior nares, having a dead sweet taste.
Mucus in posterior nares must be hawked up to clear it out; thick, viscid, clear, or yellow; flat, sweet-tasting.
COUGH.
DIFFICULT COUGH –
Hoarse, dry cough, with great dryness of throat.
Spasmodic, dry, hoarse, hard, ringing cough.
SPUTA –
Of difficult, tough mucus.
Clear, or gray lumps, in abundant saliva; later on yellow, thick, salty.
WORSE.
From cold air.
In Spring and Fall.
LARYNX AND VOICE –
Lost in morning on rising; afterwards, hoarse and creaking.
Hoarse; sensitive to cold air; throat constricted.
Dryness and burning in larynx; especially the rim of the glottis.
Voice very hoarse; great dryness of throat.
Throat feels irritated; glottis dry.
Sensitive to cold air.
SENSATIONS –
Sensitive to cold air.
Throat feels constricted.
Glottis feels dry and burning, especially the rim.
