COUGH.

DRY COUGH –

Great dryness of the throat; worse on awakening in the night, attended by much short, dry coughing; it causes sleeplessness.

Feels itching spot in throat on swallowing; left side feels swollen; burning in right side of larynx.

Dry cough from larynx; sputa blood-streaked; severe pain in chest. (Typhoid pneumonia.)

SPUTA –

None, or scanty and blood-streaked.

WORSE –

In bed, and after sleeping.

At night, cough worse.

PULSE –

Rapid, small, thin, hard.

GENERAL –

Abdomen sensitive; bowels constipated.

SENSATIONS –

Small itching spot in throat, causing dry cough at night.
