DISCHARGES –
Offensive discharges from the nose.
COUGH.
DRY COUGH –
Spasmodic, tickling cough at night.
Hoarse, ringing, spasmodic cough,
From a tickling asthmatic feeling in the bronchi, Spasm of thorax.
Spasmodic, asthmatic cough,
Feeling as if lungs did not expand.
SPUTA –
Very, scanty, stringy mucus, or Usually, none at all.
Tastes greasy.
WORSE –
At night, usually.
After physical exertion.
After a meal, pulse rapid.
CHEST AND RESPIRATION –
Asthmatic feeling in bronchi.
Spasmodic dyspnea, as if lungs would not expand.
Constriction of chest: Restless; constantly moving about; cannot breathe.
SENSATIONS –
Burning in chest, extending to hands and feet.
Dryness of the esophagus, with feeling of heat in it.
Sensation of a ball rising in the throat, until it chokes the breathing.
Feeling as if stomach was rising toward the throat.
Stitches from stomach up the esophagus.
As if lungs did not sufficiently expand; asthmatic feeling in bronchi.
SPECIAL –
Hysterical cough, especially in adults.
Burning in chest, extending to hands and feet.
Asthmatic coughs; oppression of lungs, hurried breathing, small pulse, feeling as if lungs did not sufficiently expand.
