CORYZA.
FLUENT CORYZA –
Violent sneezing, with soreness in larynx.
Burning and biting on the edges of the nostrils, particularly the septum.
Burning pimples on nostrils and lips.
Fluent all day, with chills up the back, feet fold to the knees, pulse quickened, sore throat, and limbs as if beaten.
DISCHARGES –
Acrid and burning mucus from throat.
WORSE –
Inhaling, In open air, During wet or cold weather.
COUGH.
DRY COUGH –
From irritation of throat, or acrid mucus.
Constant hawking and expectoration (sub-acute); From burning and acrid mucus in larynx.
LARYNX –
Acrid, burning, tickling, obliging him to hawk and expectorate constantly.
WORSE –
In open air, and in wet cold weather.
SENSATIONS AND PAINS –
Dryness felt in mouth and throat.
Burning and much tenderness in larynx and throat, especially of soft palate; the mucus seems acrid and burning.
Pain in all the limbs, as if beaten, (Gelsemium).
CONCOMITANT –
Burning in digestive and urinary tracts, and Burning acrid discharges.
SPECIAL –
Burning and acridity of all mucous secretions.
