Hahnemann made a great mistake when he separated acute and chronic diseases. No proving drug ever produced a chronic state in the proving. It is a law in nature that no drug can remove a state it cannot produce artificially. Therefore it is only logical that before we can remove a chronic effect we must ferret out and remove its acute base on which the chronic effect exists and thrives. The acute effect is like the root of a tree, once that root is removed the tree can no longer thrive, hence must perish. And so it is with the chronic disease.
Again, it is the hope of the writer that the above will be no reflection on the deserved glory of the immortal Hahnemann, for without his pioneering homoeopathy might never have been here, but the above is brought to your attention in order to rectify his mistakes so that he may shine all the more brilliantly in the eyes of those who would detract from him, and at the same time put homoeopathy on firmer foundation. May I implore all homoeopaths to learn to read, especially so the Organon. Homoeopathy is not a plaything, it is a deep study and an exact science. No science is more accurate or more constant; a science that stands out in bas-relief against the vaunted “science” of modern medicine, pseudo in its nature.
