I sometimes have to go over them several times. I find that this is a great help sometimes. If you have a case that perhaps you have not taken so well, it will help you out.
DR. GUY BECKLEY STEARNS: There is a good point in the last remark about using a few remedies rather than a large number. On the other hand, you go astray on that point sometimes. If the remedy that you need isnt in the repertory, isnt among those you know, you will keep hunting until you have finally exhausted all there is in that and havent cured your patient, and then you have to go out.
The effect that you get with the McRoberts machine on bakelite, the effect that you get on your jug with its skin covering, the effect that you get when you rub the skin with a rod, or the effect that you get when you percuss, are all based on one peculiar factor in physics.
There is a reason why this energy never has been discovered by patients. That is because it does not follow the rules of ordinary physical phenomena. You talk about polarity I dont believe there is such a thing as polarity. Polarity has to do with the positive and negative ends of the earth and positive and negative ends of your magnet.
An interesting thing about these phenomena is that sound brings out the effect. Sound is the one physical phenomenon that does not have to have an electro-magnetic concept to explain it.
The fact that your positive pole will neutralize a reaction doesnt mean that that has a negative polarity, that is, that the remedy does. Lets take some other factors. You know that red will do the same thing, or green, or blue. You cant say your remedy is red, or green, or blue.
DR. GRIMMER: They are corresponding rates of vibration.
DR. STEARNS: We dont know about vibration. We dont know about rates. We use the terms because we are using them but the fact that we have used them has held back the science for years. You know the science you are familiar with, but these are things that are different from science. The less I think in terms of old science, the nearer I come to a concept which I believe is correct as to the basis of all these phenomena.
I am not quarreling with your term. I am just giving you my point of view about it. When I get to these demonstrations, there I am dealing with facts. There is no quarrel about them. They are facts. When we talk about our concepts, we are dealing with something that may or may not be correct. I am giving you my concept based on these facts, accepted by physics as to why we should not use the terms such as polarity or any of the terms that are used in physics for describing what happens. They get us every time. Even the electron we have to leave out because I believe the electron has nothing to do with these. In our high potency we have matter in a state that never has been recognized by physicists.
Matter ordinarily on this earth is in three states, solid, liquid, gas. In the sun matter is in three states, gas, free electrons, radiant energy. The gas in the sun isnt at all like the gas on this earth. All the electrons have been stripped off and you have naked atoms.
The matter in the state in which we find it in our dilutions or that we bring into the state into which we bring it when we make our dilutions, is matter in an expanded state. Get that point, that thought. And you can keep on expanding it and expanding it until you get beyond the electron and beyond the theory of the electron and beyond any concept you can have when you handle figures, and you still have this substance, matter in an expanded state.
DR. OLDS: Would you call that the ionized state?.
DR. STEARNS: No, no way beyond the ionized state. You have the ionized state in the sun. When you have made a dilution up to the fifteenth, you have a dilution represented by a grain in a body of water the size of this earth. Let that sink in. Did you ever think of that before? Where are you when you get to two hundred?.
Yet, if you could contract that, evaporate all that water, you would come back to your grain of salt if you start with salt, but what happens to it when it is in that state? You have gone too far for the electron.
DR. GRIMMER: It is spread over a tremendous surface.
DR. STEARNS: You see, it is something different than has been conceived of. There is one place where you find matter in this same state and that is in living beings. There are some twenty- seven trillion cells in a human being. They are the result of dividing and subdividing of a single cell until it becomes human. One cell from you is a beginning of a new being. It contains within it all the members that go to build the body and the only thing that is continuous from one generation to another is the expanding material of the previous generation, and each generation is an expansion not only of the past one but of all the generations since life began. Get that point. It has a bearing on the wonderful effect our potencies have.
So, I cant carry with me a concept of polarity nor can I carry with me any concept that is used by science to explain these phenomena. Another year and I will tell you more.
