1 Constant urging to urinate; violent pains in glans-penis; straining extorts screams; must get down on all-fours to urinate; urine contains much viscid, thick, white mucus, or deposits a red sand.

3 Bruised, contusive pains in region of kidneys.

5 Chronic inflammation of bladder.

7 Renal colic.

9 Irritation and catarrhal inflammation of urinary tract.

11 Pain runs down thighs during efforts to urinate.

13 Much pressing and straining to pass a few drops of urine, with feeling as if more remained.

15 Violent pains in bladder, often in back; left testicle drawn up; pain in thighs (in hip, Berberis), shooting down to toes and soles of feet.

17 Paroxysms of violent pain with strangury; cries out; can only pass urine when he goes on knees, pressing head hard against floor, remaining in this position from ten to twenty minutes, when sweat breaks out, and finally urine drops off with interruption, and tearing pain in end of penis, smelling strongly of ammonia. (If there is no ammoniacal smell, Berberis-Breyfogle.)

19 Urine:-

(a) Black, bloody, foaming, depositing brickdust sediment.

(b) With uric acid sediment, sometimes crystals.

(c) Deep-red and mucous.
