1 Hydrothorax; dropsy. (Two cases cured by the author, which were the result of the young men drinking too much ice-water. The urine was scanty and thick with whitish sediment, which turned rusty-colored after standing awhile. The first two or three doses of the third dilution in water started the urine, and it continued to flow copiously as long as the condition existed.)

3 Urine:-

(a) Scanty, thick and muddy, with oedema of feet.

(b) Has excess of mucus, with epithelial cells, and oxalate of lime.

5 Diabetes mellitus; drinks large quantities of water, and passes a gallon or more every day.

7 Bright’s disease of kidneys, irregular and intermittent pulse, which does not correspond with beat of heart; constriction of larynx cough; wheezing and hot feeling under scapula; respiration oppressed, with sighing.
