1 Burning in urethra during micturition (Canth)

3 Involuntary micturition.

5 Suppression or retention of urine (Stramonium); paralysis of bladder.

7 Haematuria (Phosphorus); albuminuria; uraemia.

9 Difficult urination; seems to have lost all power to do so (after parturition).

11 Atony of bladder; no desire to urinate.

13 Retention of urine (in newborn infants).

15 Albuminuria; fatty degeneration or atrophy of tubes and capsule.

17 Albuminuria, with dropsy (after scarlatina, diphtheria, and in Bright’s disease of kidneys); prostration.

19 Abscess in kidneys.

21 Uraemia (at commencement of scarlatina).

23 Uraemia with vomiting and colic, with great anguish (especially in drunkards).

25 Uraemia, with vomiting, colic and dyspnoea.

27 Atony of bladder; no desire to urinate and no power to do so (especially after parturition).

29 Bright’s disease of kidneys (after ice-water or ice-cream).

31 Stitches in region of kidneys when sneezing.

33 Enuresis.

35 Urination after sweat (in intermittent fever). (See section on Fever).

37 Urine:-

(a) Dark-brown or greenish.

(b) Dark-yellow.

(c) Turbid; fetid, offensive, cadaverous odor.

(d) Sediment of red sand.

(e) Mixed with pus and blood.

(f) Scanty and like thick beer.

(g) Scanty and passed with difficulty, burning during urination.
