Characteristic Symptoms
Violent desire to urinate, reddening and tumefaction of orificium urethrae externum, and oedema of prepuce.
Therapeutics
Hay fever, inveterate cases; sneezing, eyes inflamed and painful, head hot. Spasmodic bronchitis and asthma, relieved in open air, fulness in the frontal region, soreness in the chest and stomach, has to loosen the clothing. Emphysema pulmonum, with great dyspnoea and sighing inspiration, better by violent motion. Whooping-cough, with long-continued paroxysms, inspiration almost impossible. Gonorrhoea after the acute stage has ceased.
Naphthaline is of great value in phthisis pulmon., especially in first and second stage (many cures herewith).
