Rheumatism chronic, or coming with Fever,

Having for cause, cool, damp, rainy weather,

Usually pains are aching and tearing,

Sleepless and anxious, his strength quickly wearing;

Typhoid too, with symptoms just said

On The Tip Of The Tongue a Triangular red,

Excitement of body, “he cannot keep still”

Inaction of mind, “he is stupid and dull”;

Continuous motion will lessen the pain,

On midnight’s arrival it augments again.

During rest and damp weather affections are worse,

exposure to rain may the troubles induce.
