Dr. J. C. White: That seems to me to be a distinction without a difference. What difference does it make whether you put a drop in a new bottle or use the drop that is left, after emptying the liquid out? About a drop adheres to the sides of the glass.

Dr. C. M. Boger: It is impossible to wash out any substance from the interstices of the glass; these remain and contaminate all subsequent potencies.

Born in Western Pennsylvania, he graduated from the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and subsequently Hahnemann Medical College of Philadelphia. He moved to Parkersburg, W. Va., in 1888, practicing there, but also consulting worldwide. He gave lectures at the Pulte Medical College in Cincinnati and taught philosophy, materia medica, and repertory at the American Foundation for Homoeopathy Postgraduate School.
