Very violent spasmodic cough, with constriction of chest which almost shuts off breathing.
Cuprum metallicum is adapted to one of the worst forms of the disease. The paroxysms are very violent and long continued, completely prostrating the patient. The child becomes rigid, turns blue or black in the face, lies as if dead. There is sometimes vomiting after the attack, and rattling of mucus between. It will do best as high as the 200th potency. Pertussis (Whooping Cough).
