Symptoms
Affects principally the mucous outlets of the body where the skin and mucous membrane join, viz., the mouth, nose, rectum, anus, urethra, and vagina (Mur-Ac). (A).
Generally indicated for persons suffering with chronic diseases who take cold easily and are easily and are easily despised to diarrhoea (A.)
Ailments from the change of weather (Calcarea phos., Dulcamara, Nat-S., Phosphorus, Rhododendron, Rhus-t).
Tearing in the limbs after catching cold (Belladonna, Phyt,., Rhus-t.
CRACKING IN. Soreness of the shin and cranial none, worse from damp weather (D).

Chilblains (Agaricus, Calcarea, Petroleum).
NIGHTLY PAINS, ESPECIALLY TO THE TOUCH AS FROM SPLINTERS.
SYPHILITIC BONE-PAINS, ESPECIALLY AFTER ABUSE OF MERCURY (Aur, Mezer., Phytolacca) (N).
The pains are felt during sleep (Lachesis).
Pains suddenly appearing and disappearing (bell.) (A).
Bad effects from catching cold (Hepar, Psorinum, Tuberculinum).
Painfulness and inflammation of the bones (Asafoetida, Aurum, Calcarea, Fluor-Ac., Mercurius, Mezer., Phosphorus, Sul.).
Softening of the bones (Phosphorus).
Caries (Aurum, Calcarea fluorica., Fluor-Ac.).
SENSATION OF A BAND AROUND THE HEAD (Am-Br., Argentum nitricum, Belladonna, Carb-Ac., Carbo vegetabilis, Chelidonium, Cocc., Cyclamen Gelsemium, Hep; Iodium, Mercurius, Spigelia, Sulphur, Terebintha). (A).
HEADACHE FROM PRESSURE OF HAT (Calc-p., Carbo vegetabilis, Crot-T. Gloninum, Lachesis, Silicea, Valer) (A).
Very sensitive to rattle of wagons over paved streets (Therid) (A).
Cracking in the ears, on masticating (A).
HARDNESS OF HEARING RELIEVED BY RIDING IN A CARRIAGE OR A TRAIN (Graph) (A).
This remedy is very often of curative value in angry, deep seated ulcers of a perforating character Fluor-Ac., Kali-b., Silicea)
EASILY BLEEDING ULCERS, WITH SPLINTER LIKE PAINS, ESPECIALLY ON CONTACT (A).
SYPHILITIC ULCERS (Aurum, Calcarea sulph., Mercurius).
SYCOTIC EXCRESCENCES ON THE GLANS, SOMETIMES BLEEDING WHEN TOUCHED (N).
ULCERS WITH ZIG-ZAG, IRREGULAR EDGES; THEIR BASES LOOK LIKE RAW FLESH AND CONSIST OF EXUBERANT GRANULATIONS (A).
Discharges from the ulcers are thin, offensive, acrid; of a brown or dirty yellowish-green color; rarely laudable pus.
Milk does not agree (Calcarea, Carbo vegetabilis, Natrum carbonicum, Sepia, Silicea, Sulphur).
DESIRE FOR FLASH, CHALK AND LIME (Alumina, Calcarea, Cicuta, Ferrum, Mat-M., Nux vomica)
Bleeding after miscarriage, or post-partum haemorrhage (Chin, Sabina, Secale) (A).
Discharge of profuse, bright red or dark blood (Sabina) (A.).

Dry, tickling cough, worse at night, and often starting from a particular spot in. the larynx (Conium, Spong) (D).
Phthisis: Difficult, green, purulent expectoration;night sweats; soreness of the chest, hectic fever; haemorrhage; dyspnoea and hoarseness, worse in the morning (D.).
Rattling breathing (Ant-T., Hepar, Nat-S.) (D).
Yellow, sickly face (Sep) (B).
Moist, fissured or mapped tongue (Kali bichromicum, Tarax. (B).
GUMS FLABBY, SORE AND BLEEDING (B).
Cough, coryza, and pain in the back (Bryonia, Nat-S., Rhus toxicodendron).
Stitches as from a splinter in the nose, on touch (N.).
OZAENA, WITH GREEN CASTS FROM THE NOSE EVERY MORNING (Kali-B) (A).
Offensive, excoriating discharge from the nose, accompanied by nose-bleed (D).
Hard plugs in the nose,. which, when detached, leave a raw surface (D.).
Sycotic or syphilitic wars or condylomata; large, jagged, pedunculated; bleeding readily on washing; moist, oozing; with sticking pain(A.)
URINE; SCANTY, DARK-BROWN, STRONG SMELLING, “LIKE HORSE’S URINE”; COLD WHEN IT PASSES; TURBID, “LOOKS LIKE REMAINS OF A CIDER BARREL” (A).
AGGRAVATION:
In the evening; at night; from milk; during sleep; on change of temperature or weather; after midnight; from contact; during sweat; on waking: and while walking.
AMELIORATION:
From riding in a carriage; from warm covering; and from hot application.
