COMMON NAME:

      COMMON CHAMOMILE.

Symptoms

      Exceeding irritable, fretful (Nux vomica) (A.).

“Too ugly to live” (A.).

Cannot bear to be spoken to (Arsenicum, Conium, Hyoscyamus, Acid nitricum, Nux vomica, Sepia) (A.).

Aversion to talking (Aurum, Carb-An., Cocc., Gloninum, Acid phosphoricum., Platina, Sulphur) (A.).

Can not endure any one near him (Anacardium, Ignatia, Natrum muriaticum, Nux vomica) (A.).

Bad effects from wrath, from coffee and narcotic palliatives.

Snappish; can not return a civil answer.

Cross and peevish, angry disposition (Belladonna, Cina., Lycopodium, Nux vomica, Sulphur).

Throbbing headache in one-half of the brain (Belladonna, Gloninum, Lachesis, Natrum muriaticum, Verat- V.) (Br.).

Flatulent colic, after anger, with red cheeks hot perspiration (Br.).

Abdomen distended like a drum (Argentum nitricum, Arsenicum, Carbo vegetabilis, China, Cocc., Colchicum, Hyoscyamus, Lachesis, Lycopodium, Phosphorus, Terebintha) (N.).

Face sweats after eating or drinking (N.).

AGGRAVATION:

      In the night; after breakfast; after suppressed perspiration; on getting warm in bed; in the evening; from anger; in open air; in the wind; and from eructations.

AMELIORATION:

      From being carried; from fasting; and in warm, wet weather.

RELATIONSHIP:

      complementary: Belladonna, in diseases of children. or cranial nerves.

Useful in cases spoiled by the use of Opium or Morphine in complaints of children.

Mental calmness contra-indicates Chamomilla.

Adolph Lippe
Adolph Lippe (born near Goerlitz, Prussia, 11 May 1812; died in Philadelphia, 23 January 1888) was a homeopathic physician who worked in the United States. Adolph got a legal education at Berlin. After completing his legal studies, Lippe became interested in homeopathy, and emigrated to the United States in 1837 to further his study. In 1838, he enrolled in the North American Academy of Homeopathy at Allentown, Pennsylvania, from where he graduated in 1841. He settled in Philadelphia, where from 1863 until 1868 he was professor of materia medica in the Homeopathic College of Pennsylvania. Besides some essays and treatises from the French, German, and Italian which became standards, Lippe was the author of:
