Wilhelm Karo gives a detail description of the female symptoms of homeopathy remedy Opium, in his book Homeopathy in Women’s Disease, published in 1942….

      It is the drug for old women and to women addicted to the use of spirituous beverages.

Key Symptoms.

      Vivid imagination, exaltation of mind. Great heaviness of the head; heavy, stupefying sleep, voluptuous dreams. Bluish or pale face. Violent thirst.

Special Symptoms.

      Menstruation either too profuse, or suppressed with congestion of blood to the head and spasmodic colics in he genital canal.

Suppression of the lochia from fright. Prolapse of the womb, due to relaxation.
