COCCULUS


Wilhelm Karo gives a detail description of the female symptoms of homeopathy remedy Cocculus, in his book Homeopathy in Women’s Disease, published in 1942….


      It is the drug for light-haired women of a lively turn of mind, troubled with imaginary fear and for women, subject to spasmodic, uterine and hysterical complaints.

General Symptoms.

      Exhaustion, sleeplessness, vomiting. Burning, itching pains; aggravation from riding, all exertion, eating, drinking, after smoking.

Special Symptoms.

      Menstrual flow only in the evening while lying down; the menstrual flow containing enormous black clots. Sensation of constriction and tension about the abdomen.

Leucorrhoea, consisting of mucus, preceded by drawing or thrusting pain in the inguinal, vesical and pubic region.
