Cornea implicated, lids swollen, spasmodically closed, bleeding easily upon any attempt to open them and very sensitive to touch; little pimples surround the inflamed eyes; great chemosis and photophobia; profuse discharge; throbbing, aching pains, (>) by warmth, (<) from any draught of air.

Discharges of eyes thin, excoriating, probably from a syphilitic leucorrhoea, threatening to ulcerate and perforate cornea.

Rhus-tox [Rhus-t]
Exposure to wet; lids red, oedematous and spasmodically closed with a copious, yellow, purulent discharge, or discharge may be less and a profuse gush of tears may take place. Cachectic restless children.
Sulphur [Sulph]
Sharp sticking pans, as if pins were sticking in eyes; canthi appear raw; pimples more or less over the body. Psora and scrofulosis.
Syphilinum [Syph]
Upper lids swollen, during sleep lids adhere; ptosis, eyes look sleepy from lowering of upper lid; pain (<) at night, (>) cold water.
Thuja [Thuj]
Hard inflammation of the eyelids, which seem indurated.
