HOW TO TREAT SEVERE COUGHS

Antimonium tartaricum (3x, 6x or 30th). This allopaths use this remedy as an expectorant, but in their large dosages it is actually a heart depressant and it is so classed by the allopaths in their books with many warnings. In minute homoeopathic dosage there is no fear of the secondary which the allopaths fear and warn about. Our minute doses act much quicker and better. We do not use this drug as an expectorant but as a stimulant to Nature, to produce secretion, curing from within.

The cough of this remedy sounds loose and the patient will tell you that “the next cough will bring up the phlegm”, but it dose not. No phlegm is raised, though there is much coarse rattling in the larger air passages. Deep down in the lung tissue the sounds (rales) are fine and moist, chest seems full of phlegm, with some nausea, great drowsiness, and sense of suffocation increases, while the skin of lips, face and flesh under the nails turns blue.

Face is covered with cold sweat and in extreme cases there is impending paralysis of the lungs, extreme drowsiness, even going on into coma. This is the most serious “picture” which this remedy will cure and save you form impending death which would be the case if not helped by the right medicine.
