Sleep and Dreams.

Sleepiness. Drowsiness during the day (24th and 25th days). Sleeplessness. Cannot go to sleep early, contrary to his habit (fifth day). Awakens often during the night, contrary to his habit (2nd night). During the night she is over-wakeful without much difficulty (symptoms?), (24th and 25th days). Restless sleep at night, followed by perspiration (1st night). Little and restless sleep, during the night (3rd night). No sleep before midnight (11th night). No sleep till morning, when she has feverish distressing dreams (18th night). Sleepless (first 18 nights, except 16th night, and 20th, 21st and 22nd nights. Dreams. Distressing dreams every night (5th day). Dreams that she is spinning, and marked her yarn with red wool (first night). When sleeping, she sees all kinds of images (24th and 25th days).

Fever

Chilliness. Body icy cold, she cannot get warm, although one hour and a half under a feather-bed; head burns like fire, with much thirst (during headache); (8th and 9th days). Heat. She feels hot and oppressed in chest, with mild perspiration all over, of short duration (after four hours and a half, first day). General heat alternating with crampy pain in the chest (first night). Burning heat, with redness of the face, more on the right side; after the heat had ceased circumscribed dark redness of the cheeks, worse on the right side, in the afternoon (12th day). Dry heat; the feet burn, she is restless, throws herself about; much rumbling in the abdomen (first night). Flushes of heat alternating with chilliness (19th day). Feverish, at 8 P. M. (19th day). Fever from 6 or 12 P. M. then better, with redness of the face, and more on the upper part of the face (24th and 25th days). Burning in the palms of the hands and soles of the feet (24th and 25th days). Sweat. Breaks out into perspiration (after three-quarters of an hour, 2nd day). Perspiration, following restless sleep (first night). Perspiration and itching of the penis and scrotum, for some days (5th day). Much perspiration after midnight (11th night); continued perspiration, in the morning (12th day). During the cold sensation, the skin is moist and sticky (8th and 9th days).

Conditions.

Aggravation (Morning), Pressing in canthi. (forenoon), Headache, etc.; pressing out of the eyes, etc. (Afternoon), At 5 O’clock, ill-humored, etc.; pressing in left eye; from 2 to 5 O’clock, when reading MS, spot before eyes; while walking in open air, singing in ear; redness of face. (Evening), Itching in elbow- joint. (Night), From 6 to 12 O’clock, fever; after midnight, perspiration. (Open air), Tearing in forehead. (In bed), Toothache. (While drinking coffee), Pain in teeth. (Eating), Pain in teeth. (Walking), Tearing in knee.

Amelioration

(Towards evening), In good spirits. (After eating), Pain in forehead. (Walking about), All symptoms; obscuration of sight.
