Sleep

Disposed to yawn.- Sleepiness, and heaviness, with inability to sleep, and also almost constant necessity to change the position.- Sleeplessness, from pain.- Night restless.

Fever

Chilliness: with sweat, with cold sweat, with rigidity and clammy sweat, then fever.- Temperature diminished, resists cold badly.- Heat: in morning, with thirst, restlessness, and moderate pains, towards evening, at night, with delirium, then shivering.- Fever of irregular type, intermittent fever.- Burning: running up arm, rising from heel to tongue, on chest and abdomen, with longing for cold applications though skin was cold to touch, of fingers (from rubbing a stick with which a snake had been bruised), with swelling.- Sweat: after vomiting, after chamomile tea, copious sweat from abdomen to toes except over the bitten limb, cold,, clammy.- Skin dry.

As a physician he not only had his own clinic in Piccadilly, London, but he also was a consultant at the London Homeopathic Hospital and researched into new remedies — nosodes.
