General [General] This disease is caused by food of bad quality, or by the animal eating too large a quantity; the animal exhibits extreme agitation; it chews and grunts incessantly, and strives to conceal itself; it becomes convulsed at the mouth, from which froth sometimes flows; generally there exists a disposition to vomit, and sometimes even actual vomiting. In certain cases the entire body is gradually struck with paralysis.
REMEDIES: Aconite, Arsenicum, Pulsatilla and Ipecacuanha.
Aconite [Acon] Aconite, if the animal is very restless, and grunts continually.
Dose. Four drops every one, two or three hours
. Arsenicum [Ars] Arsenicum, if the animal appears to be in great pain, especially if the animal has eaten too much.
Dose. The same as directed for Aconite.
Pulsatilla [Puls] Pulsatilla and Ipecacuanha, if there is a continued disposition to vomit, or even if vomiting has taken place.
Dose. The same as directed for Aconite.
